The 13U Gilbert Genies are a very competitive, traveling non-profit club team that competes throughout the state of Arizona. The team is composed of sixth and seventh grade girls from Chandler, Mesa, Surprise, Queen Creek, Scottsdale and Gilbert and competes in the 13U division of all Arizona AAU sanctioned basketball tournaments. The team is coached by Steve Bomar and Darren Hatcher. Each season the Genies practice to improve their basketball skills and develop friendships that extend beyond the basketball court. Genies basketball players successfully compete at the highest level and against the top competition in the southwest.
