Craig's Photos

Folks, sorry for the lapse in time for getting more photos to you. I had an interesting time up north and it started on Thursday- the day we left Orange County. About the time we hit Ridgecrest, my truck overheated, I had no idea yet that I lost my water pump, and limped into a gas station to see what was wrong. Anyhow, by the time we got to camp in Lee Vining, we were pretty tired, so we took our time setting up camp - debating what to do about the leak - AND what hot spring to visit to relax. We decided to just let the truck cool off then add water to the radiator and hit Travertine Hot Springs. What a treat! When we arrived, there was a nice electrical storm just moving in, lightening from around us shooting across the sky in different directions was well worth the decision to visit. Chatted with some others up there over some cold brews about years past and the fun we all have.
Saturday, after I got my truck back from the repair shop, we headed out to do some fishing and re-aquaint ourselves with the lower hot springs a bit Went to Little Hot Creek, soaked and layed in the sun for a while. More friends from our camp showed up about an hour after we were there, we left and unfortunately missed another couple who came just minutes after my buddy and I left. DCR- one of these days we will meet up hahahaha. That would have been a treat!
Got a ticket Saturday night going back to camp. Sunday was great on the ice for fishing and again more hot springs that evening. Tuesday was another interesting day with losing a timing belt out at Hill Top Hot Springs, and spending a night in Mammoth- wishing I had a car to go to the springs again that night while we waited for the repair work to be done. Oh well, enough of this talk again, here are some photo's and I hope that you enjoy them as much as I did visiting them and taking them.
