The Eagles' Columbus Connectioin of SF Tihon Johnson and PF Waki Williams led the way: Johnson had 28 pts and 6 asts while Williams had 20 pts and 7 rebs. SG Michael Frazier tossed in 18 pts on 7 of 11 shooting, and PG Steve Williams handed out 10 asts. Mt. San Jacinto shot 62% from the field for the game and 83% (15/18) from the FT line. For Mira Costa, SG Charles White topped the scoring list with 15 pts but shot just 5 of 20. SF Nick Burgess had 14 pts plus 4 asts. PF Chris Nelson had 11 pts, 5 steals, 4 rebs and 4 asts. PF Bryan Lay had an active game off the bench for the Spartans and finished with a game-high 9 rebs.
