In the second game, Long Beach City (8-7) blew out Riverside (8-8), 99-68. The Vikings led 42-34 at halftime but completely dominated the second half. PG Ken Wright led the way with 19 pts (incl 5 threes) plus 10 asts. SF Exzavier Rideout scored 21 pts. Reserve Fwd Stephin Booth had an active game off the bench with 16 pts on 7 of 8 shooting plus 4 blocks.
Riverside stayed close for a half, mainly on the strength of their shooting (56% in the first half) and the efforts of PF Jamal Nichols, who scored 16 of his game-high 30 pts before intermission. But he was the only Tiger to reach double figures, and RCC shot just 28% in the second half.
