Palomar 52, LA Trade Tech 51

In the third game, Palomar pulled the upset and knocked off last year's finalist LA Trade Tech, 52-51. The Comets, who improve to 2-9 on the season, held off a late LATT charge to get the win. SF Jordan Feramisco had a double-double with 10 pts and 13 rebs. PG Abdullah Karimi led Palomar with 15 pts and handed out 5 asts.

LA Trade Tech (5-8) almost overcame an extended dry spell to begin the game. They didn't score a point for the first 9:57 of the game, falling behind 15-0. Despite rallying to trail by just 8 at the half, they were never able to gain the lead. Palomar still led by 10 at 52-42 with just over 3 minutes to play before SF Stanton Williams led a comeback that fell just short. PF Mark Treadwell's 3-pointer at the buzzer bounced off the rim.
