Bartolo Colon pitched 6 1/3 innings, allowing just one hit before being ejected.

After blowing his last 2 save opportunities, Charlie Manuel decided to give new reliever John Rocker "a breather" and let Bob Wickman have the closer spot. Rocker's ERA is 8.34 since being traded to the Tribe.

Due to All-Star week, there will be no Week in Review. The Houston series will be covered in next week's review, which will appear next Monday.

Every year John Hart has made key trades before the July deadline to give the Tribe an extra charge in the second half of the season. This year will be no different, as we take a look at the possible moves to be made before July 31.

IN THE NEWS...

-Juan Gonzalez is day-to-day after being hit in the hand by a pitch against Houston on Tuesday.

-Chuck Finley's return from the DL has been delayed due to numbness in his left hand. He will be examined by doctors to determine if he needs surgery.

-The Indians acquired reliever John Rocker in a trade with the Atlanta Braves in exchange for relievers Steve Karsay and Steve Reed. The Indians also received Atlanta's top outfielder prospect.
