Lisa Brenner (Anne Howard) makes her film debut in "The Patriot." She recently completed her second feature, "Roomies," directed by Oliver Robins, a romantic comedy about two people looking for the perfect roommate. She began her career as Marguerite Cory on the classic daytime drama "Another World," appearing just before the show's demise, from 1995 - 1996. She also played Jenny on the MTV series "Undressed," described as "The Real World" meets "Sex, Lies and Videotape".
Lisa Brenner plays Anne Howard, a spirited young woman with a love of liberty. Anne’s fervor was held by many young women of her time, such as Deborah Samson, a Massachusetts woman who fought disguised as a man, and received a war pension from George Washington. South Carolina sisters Rachel and Grace Martin, Hannah Snell, and many others did the same - so many that such women became known as "Molly Pitcher," for carrying water to the front lines, and often joining the fight.
