Chad Donella brings a strong theatrical background, along with film and television experience to his role on STRAIGHT UP. He has appeared in productions at Toronto's Factory Theatre Mainspace and Theatre Centre East, and the Markham Theatre, north of Toronto. At Unionville High School, where he took the arts program, his stage appearances ranged from such classics as Oedipus Rex, Shakespeare's Measure For Measure, Beckett's Waiting For Godot (Estragon), and Ibsen's A Doll's House (Torvald Helmer), to commedia del arte and contemporary theatre - including the title role in The Collected Works of Billy The Kid.
He played a teenager in the film The Long Kiss Goodnight, and recently appeared in an episode of Alliance Communications' Fast Track.
In his spare time, Donella also enjoys writing, and is working on a screenplay.
