 How do you pronounce you name?

It’s an acronym derived from the to words the and eye. As you know "the" is pronounced "d" when it is in front of a word beginning with an e, i, a, etc. Kashiko is just the last name and is pronounced strait forward with the "i" sounding more like an "e".

What is your greatest creative talent?

hm.. I don’t think that is for me to judge. I can say that I think I’m a better musician than I’m a graphic artist for example. But I do enjoy being involved in all aspects of what me might call creative work.

What comes first; the music or the words?

It all depends. I worked both ways.

Are making music easy?

Depends on your point of view. It is not hard to make music. It is hard to come up with something one is finally happy with. One challenge is the question of inspiration. I think one can only create great music while inspired, waiting or finding that inspiration can be painstaking. But it is really like an orgasm when it happens, and that sort of makes it worth it. I think great music only are achieved in truly inspired moments, all tough some times catchy tunes are made while I was just playing around with the gear. Having said that I just need to add that after the idea is there, ours and ours of fine-tuning and modification goes into a song.

Why are there so few pictures of you available?

I dunno. I could say that I never find time to take some, and that they aint exactly on my priority list. Also I’m way to critical to my look, and are never happy with the pictures.
