GRADE AVERAGING

To calculate your grade percentage during a term, use the following method:

(Your test scores / Possible test scores) x (75) + (Your assignment scores / Possible assignment scores) x (25) = Your Percentage Score for the term.

Calculators
A scientific calculator is required, but the use of programmable calculators is not permitted during tests.

Q-days (Quiz or Test Days)
To prevent quiz-dodging, students are permitted to miss only 2 quiz or test days for any reason.  After the second quiz absence, make-up tests will be scored at a reduced percentage.  [This process can be appealed only under extremely special circumstances.]
