A Look Into the Life of a Champion

She has been lucky, representing her country while doing what she loves. However, her gymnastics career has been more than just being at the right place at the right time. Katherine Jennifer Teft has spent virtually an entire life perfecting her craft, experiencing triumph, while ignoring the bumps and bruises along the way. Some may say that she gave up a "normal" childhood to pursue the sport. However, in the gymnastics world, the sacrifices are all worth it. Although injuries eventually ended her international elite career, Katie is far from finished. As a sophomore gymnast at the University of Massachusetts, Katie as already achieved never-ending success. Her outstanding training has paid great rewards in the world of college gymnastics. Her hard work and dedication, combined with the fun college atmosphere, has made her love for the sport perhaps stronger than ever. Katie will continue to work, Katie will continue to learn, and Katie will continue to achieve. Is an NCAA title in her future? Well, maybe. But only time will tell.
