Reggie White Off the Field
Reggie White gave his life to the lord when he turned 13. He has since gone on to many things for the kingdom of God. Reggie is the owner of Big Doggie Records, a company designed to produce clean wholesome entertainment such as movies and music. He is a copastor at an inner city church inside Knoxville Tennessee. Reggie is also a firm believer in the power of prayer. Numerous times during his great football career Reggie had an injury that was cured through the power of prayer. He even played the next week after being told that his football season was over after an injury. But his greatest show of faith came in a very tragedic situation. Just after losing a playoff game to the Dallas Cowboys in 1996 Reggie's church was burned to the ground. Reggie came back to his church to find out that it had been set on fire by a racism group. Instead of fighting hate with hate, Reggie turned the other cheek and asked for help in rebuilding his church. He began receiving donations from all over the country. He soon had amassed over $200,000 in donations. Reggie showed that hate can be overcome with the mercy and grace that only God can provide.
