The Kidnapping

Chapter 21
2 Months Later
Sara rang the doorbell to Ben and Meg's house, and waited patiently until
Benjy came running to the door and opened it. "Hi Sara!" he yelled
"Hi Benjy, is Meg or your daddy here?"
"Yep, come on in." Sara followed Benjy inside, and was greeted by Meg who came bustling down the stairs.
"Hi Sara, what are you doing here?"
"Oh I was just wondering how my newly married sister was doing?"
Meg smiled widely and stared down at her wedding rings. After Benjy had told Ben and Meg that he was happy with them being together, they began wedding plans in Venice immediately. They stopped at the Dominican Republic, like they had planned months before, but this time the divorce did happen. Then Ben and Meg headed off to Venice to be married.
Sara and Casey had watched Benjy while they were gone, and Maria had been able to have him stay with her for a few nights as well. They were taking it slowly, and pretty soon they all thought that Benjy would be able to live with Maria permanently, and visit Ben and Meg whenever he pleased. Maria had gone to several therapy sessions, and was actually doing much better. They had decided not to tell Benjy yet about his real father, Ben adopted him, and was going to remain as his father.
Ben and Meg had enjoyed an absolutely wonderful honeymoon for a whole month and a half, and had returned home two days ago.
"Well, your newly married sister is doing perfect, I've never been happier!"
Meg exclaimed
"Yeah she never stops smiling, neither does daddy." Benjy added
Sara and Meg both laughed "Benjy why don't you go finish your lunch, then
when your daddy gets home we'll take you over to your mommy's"
"Okay Meg." Benjy ran to the kitchen
"Well, Mrs. Evans, do you want to tell me every single detail of the wedding
and honeymoon now or later?" Sara smiled
"Now! But Sara,"
"Yeah"
"Not every detail." They both laughed. Meg showed Sara tons of pictures, of the wedding and honeymoon. She explained how perfect everything was, and how much fun she had. "I remember one night, I came back to the room from the hotel gift shop and Ben had the whole place decorated with white roses, and candles, he even had soft music playing. He ran a bubble bath, and ordered a romantic dinner for two. I was so mesmerized, and surprised. I don't even know why I was so surprised I mean he did wonderful things like this all the time, but I don't know something was special about this night. We ate dinner, then danced. Then after a very long bath together we made love all night long. It was so incredible, I'll never forget it as long as I live."
"Oh Meg, Ben is so romantic." Sara gushed
"Yes, he is."
"So what are your plans for tonight? Would you like to come to dinner with
Casey and I?"
"Oh I'd love to, but tonight I'm planning something special for Ben."
"You guys never quit do you?" Meg blushed
"Well, I really need to talk to him, I need to tell him something."
"Anything important?"
"Yes, definitely."
Sara noticed a strange look in Meg's eyes "What going on?" she asked curiously
"Ummm, well, okay I didn't want to tell anyone before Ben, but I have to let
someone know!"
"What?"
"Sara, I'm pregnant!"
Sara stood there for a moment, then her mouth dropped open "Oh my gosh Meg! Are you serious?" she squeaked with excitement
"Yes!" she nodded excitedly
"Oh my gosh Meg!" She repeated "This is so great!" She ran over and hugged her sister
"Oh Sara, I'm so excited, and I just can't wait to tell Ben!"
"Well, I should get going then, but call me tomorrow and let me know exactly
what he says!"
"I will I promise, bye Sara." Meg walked her out, then cleaned up the house a bit. "Maybe I should take Benjy to Maria's now, that way I'll have time to
set up for Ben's surprise, it has to be perfect." she thought
After packing him a bag, she took Benjy to Maria's new beach house, once she returned home she began to set up her special evening. When everything was in place she said to herself. "Mr. Evans, won't know what hit him."
Chapter 22
Ben arrived home from a long day of meetings at The Liberty Corporation,
since they returned from their honeymoon his schedule was pretty filled. It
was worth it though, every moment in Venice had been pure bliss. Every second with Meg made him happier and happier, and if having such a wonderful wedding and honeymoon meant that he'd have to suffer through a few days of long meetings he'd gladly suffer.
Once he was inside he was taken by complete surprise, there were candles everywhere, and a sweet aroma filed the room. A table set for two was in the middle of the room, and a soft song playing on the CD player. On the table was a note addressed to him, he stared in awe for a minute, then picked up the note.
Ben,
I have a surprise for you, but first things first. You'll have to find me if
you want anything!

Ben smiled as he set down his briefcase and walked upstairs to their room.
Inside their bedroom all of the candles were lit as well. Meg heard him come in and emerged from the bathroom. She was wearing a long, silky black dress, her hair was swept up, and she wore her wedding pearls.
Ben took in all of her beauty "Hello Mr. Evans, I thought you'd never get
here."
"You look, amazing," he walked towards her, and enveloped her in his arms.
"Why thank-you, you look pretty handsome yourself, as always." She kissed him tenderly "Do you like the first part of your surprise?"
"Oh yes, very much," he kissed her for a long while "But what's the second
part?"
"Oh, you don't get that until after dinner."
Ben pretended to get upset "But Meg, I can't wait that long!" he whined
"Too bad!" she grinned and led him downstairs. They ate dinner, and after
they were through Meg went and got the dessert. She had two bowls with her "All right dessert time" she said. She took off the lids, in one bowl was
strawberries, and in the other was whipped cream.
"Oh Mrs. Evans you spoil me!"
She smiled and took a strawberry out, she lathered it in whip cream, then
brought it to Ben's lips. He gratefully accepted it, along with her finger as
well. "Mmmm very good."
Meg smiled "I'm glad you like it."
"So now do I get my surprise?"
"Oh you are just like a little kid!"
"Well, I just love your surprises that's all."
"Oh I see, in that case I guess you can have it now," she got up and went to
the desk, she picked up a large box wrapped up. She handed it to Ben "Here you go."
He grinned at her then began to unwrap it eagerly. He opened it only to find
another box inside of it, and one inside of that, there were a total of five
boxes. In the last one he found a note written by Meg.
Ben,
If I could show you your surprise I would, but I'm sorry I can't, not yet at
least. But don't worry you'll be able to see and hold your surprise very
soon, well nine months to be exact.

P.S. Look inside the box again
Ben lifted the tissue from the box and there was a little bib that said 'I
Love My Daddy'
Ben held the bib in his hand, and reread the note over again. He finally
looked over at Meg, who had tears in her eyes. She softly said "Surprise Dad."
Ben walked to her "Meg, are you saying that..."
She placed his hand on her stomach "I'm saying that were having a baby."
"Oh Meg!" Ben picked her up and kissed her all over her face "I love you so
much, oh my Gosh this is amazing, I love you."
Tears freely fell down Meg's cheeks "I love you too Ben, I'm so happy!"
Ben's eyes sparkled with happiness as he swept her up in his arms and carried her to their room, where they made sweet, passionate love. When they finally lay exhausted din one another's arms he whispered "You make me happier than ever, and I promise to love you forever."
Chapter 23
The next morning Ben awoke to find Meg peacefully sleeping in his arms. He gently stroked her face and whispered "I love you." He let his hand slide down to her stomach and then said "And you too."
Meg could feel Ben's touch and smiled, then slowly fluttered her eyes open. "Good morning."
"Good morning, I'm sorry I woke you."
"It's all right I need to get up anyway." She sat up and kissed him softly
"How do you feel Meg?"
"As of right now fine, but I'm sure those words will come back to haunt me any day now." Ben laughed and moved closer to Meg on the bed, holding her closely. "I should really get ready for work Ben."
Ben began to kiss the nape of Meg's neck "Ben, I really need to get dressed." Ben ignored her and continued his kisses "Ben, please" she protested, but was interrupted by a kiss hard on the lips. "I love you Meg."
"I love you too," Meg replied as she let herself get lost in Ben's kisses "and I wish we could stay like this all day, but..."
"But you have to go to work, I know, So do I."
"So are you going to let me get dressed?"
"Under one condition." he smiled at her
"Oh and what would that be Mr. Evans?"
"You have to promise we will continue this the second you come home from work."
"I think I can handle that." She smiled at him wishing it were the end of the day already.
"Okay, then I guess I have to let you go," he kissed her nose and she went to get ready for work.
Later That Day~ Shockwave
Meg walked in to The Shockwave to find Sara and Casey kissing behind the counter "Are you two mixing business with pleasure?" she teased
They slowly pried themselves apart when they heard her voice "Hello Meg." Sara smiled at her sister.
Meg sat down at the counter "Hello, how are you guys."
"Great." Casey winked at Sara
"Casey, honey will you go get me some more menus from the back?"
"Sure, be right back." Once Casey had disappeared into the back Sara leaned over the counter "So did you tell Ben?" she asked excitedly
"Yes, Yes I told him."
"And..."
"And he was ecstatic! You should have seen his face Sara he was so happy."
"Oh that is so sweet."
"What's so sweet?" Casey asked as he returned with the menus. Sara looked at Meg and Meg nodded 'Yes'
"Casey, it's the most exciting news, Meg's pregnant!"
"Meg!" Casey yelled excitedly "That's so great! What did Ben say?"
"Oh he was so happy." Meg laughed as Casey gave her a big hug "It was the best night, he couldn't have been happier if he tried."
Just then Ben walked into the restaurant and Sara ran over to him and gave him a hug "Congratulations!" Casey game over as well and shook his hand "Yeah Ben, congratulations."
"So I guess you told them our news Meg." He said as he enveloped her in his arms
"Yes I did, you don't mind do you?"
"Of course not."
"Okay good, I just want to tell everyone!" she squealed. Everyone laughed.
"Listen as much fun as this is, I have to get back to work, Michael gets off his shift soon so I need to get going. Congratulations again you guys." Casey hugged Meg again and kissed Sara, then left.
"Yes, I should get working too, don't want Mom and Dad to think I'm slacking. " She smiled and went to wait on some tables.
"Alone at last." Ben smiled and kissed Meg softly
"Finally," she replied "I'm glad to see you here, now I don't have to eat alone."
"I'm glad your here too. Lets eat."
"Okay I'm starving." Ben laughed as they sat down "I was thinking maybe we could tell Benjy about the baby tonight, before our plans later." He had a sparkle in his eyes as he thought about their agreement this morning.
"Well, I'd really like to tell him tonight, before our plans." Meg's eyes sparkled the same way "I just hope he's excited."
"Don't worry darling he will be."
They ate lunch and headed back to work. Later that night they told Benjy about the baby and he was extremely happy to have a baby brother or sister. This made Meg feel thrilled and relieved at the same time. Later on they finally got to their plans and it was pure magic. After making love all night, they lie wrapped up in one another, filled with more happiness than ever.
Chapter 24
~*One year and nine months later*~
"Happy Birthday to you," everyone sang as Ben held his daughter in his arms, and Meg helped her blow out the candle on her cake.
Today was Madison Evans first birthday, and there was a party being held at Ben and Meg's house. Everyone clapped as Meg helped Madison blow out her candle. "Good job sweetie." Ben bounced her up and down on his knee.
"Okay honey, how about we open some presents?" Meg asked and Madison giggled with delight.
Sara handed her a present "Here you go this one is from Aunt Sara and Uncle Casey." Sara smiled to herself, her and Casey had been married two months ago, and things had never been better between them.
"Look what you got! A new baby doll, say thank you to your aunt and uncle." Meg interrupted Sara's thoughts.
"Tank-OO" Madison replied happily. Sara laughed as Casey said "Your welcome."
"This one's from me!" Benjy yelled as he came running up to Madison and handed her a present in shiny paper. She ripped off the paper hurriedly to find some books and a stuffed animal. "Tank-OO"she said to him and laughed
"Yes, thank-you Benjy" Meg said as well. Benjy was now living with Maria in her new place, but Saw Ben and Meg whenever he liked. Maria had finally moved on from Ben, and even though there was a small part of her that wanted to go back to him, she devoted all of her time and energy into giving Benjy a good, stable life.
Everyone was finally happy, especially Ben and Meg. "Well, it looks like you got enough toys to last you the next three years Madison." Meg said as she wiped the cake frosting off of the baby's face awhile later. Sara and Casey were the only people left, and they were getting ready to go.
"It was a great party Meg." Sara said as she kissed Madison good-bye. "I love you sweetie, happy birthday." Casey kissed her as well "Yeah guys, it was a great party."
"Thanks Casey, bye you guys."
"Bye," they said as they left.
"Well, that was the last of them." Meg said as she set Madison down by her toys and sat next to Ben on the sofa. "It was a great day wasn't it?"
"Yes, it was. I can't believe our little girl is already a year old."
"I know it feels like just yesterday she was born." Meg replied and looked up at Ben who was staring at her. "What Ben?" he didn't answer her "Ben, what's wrong?"
"Nothing, nothing I was just thinking about how much I love you." He said as he snapped out of his thoughts "You, and Madison, I love you both so much, and I love the life we share."
Meg smiled as tears formed in her eyes "I love you too Ben, and our family. I love you so much, I've never been so happy. " She leaned over and kissed him as Madison crawled over and tugged on her daddy's leg. "DADA" she said, and Ben smiled down at her.
"Do you want to join us?" he asked as he picked her up effortlessly and kissed her forehead. Meg smiled and stroked her daughter's jet black hair. She watched Ben hold her and kiss her, Madison was such a daddy's girl. Her face lit up every time Ben walked in the room, and it was the same for Ben. Every time he held Madison, or played with her, in fact every time he even saw her his entire face glowed. He loved his daughter and wife more than anything, and felt like his life couldn't get any better.
"Did you have fun at your party sweetie?" Meg asked the baby, Madison giggled happily.
"I guess that's a yes." Ben chuckled, he placed Madison in between him and Meg, and put his arm around Meg.
"I love you Ben." she said
"I love you too Meg, and you too Madison." he added
"Yes, you too!" Meg smiled down at her.
The three of them sat there for a long time completely happy with their lives, and excited for how wonderful they knew their whole lives would be.
