A Piece Of Time
I look upon the starlit sky
As glowing embers burning high
Pieces of a bigger space
Once a part of a bigger place
Suspended in the nightly air
Hanging there without a care
Smell the breeze that rustles your hair
With the joy of falling time
Protect our earth our trees its right
To live a happy and carefree life
Take a moment and listen to the sounds
Of nature calling all around
Sleeping with the morning dew
The rising sun of time appears
Brightly shining, drying mornings tears
Its time to wake and make this piece of space we have a better place
A safer place a beautiful ember of a bigger place
That once was!
