Westinghouse OV-12 Silverliner

The Westinghouse OV-12 was one of the strangest cobraheads ever made, as you will why after looking at the pictures. Unlike most cobraheads where you access the lamp, ballast, and slipfitter from the bottom, in this one all of these are in the lower fixture housing, so you will have to unscrew the top three steel screws, then take the whole top half off! The refractor has the ring and hinge tho, for access to the lamp and optics. The OV-12 was later replaced by the OV-15. Enjoy the photos!

Now after looking at the pics you will see why this is an odd luminaire. The ballast inside is not the orginial...I put it in myself since the orginial ballast was not working and removed prior to me acquiring it. But still, it makes it possible to light a 175 watt mercury lamp inside.
