HIT PARADE AUDIO

Running from 1994 to 1997, Hit Parade clocked up over eighty hour-long shows and a number of extended special editions, in which Collins & Maconie proved themselves as capable live broadcasters. All shows still exist in the BBC Archive, with rushes of the pre-recorded regular shows residing with Wise Buddah.

A full programme & archive listing is in development that should appear alongside the extensive Quantick retrospective for SOTCAA of Spring 2002. In lieu of this, we present a selection of eleven short downloads from the series, many of which correspond with the main article, plus a transcript of five more sequences from Hit Parade's five series - hopefully enough to give you a taste of what the show was like week in, week out:
