Hancock's Resolution

Hancock's Resolution, the family home of our branch of the Hancock family, was occupied continuously by five generations for 180 years.  The house was built by Stephen Hancock, about 1784-85, the fourth generation of the family in Maryland, and a veteran of the 6^th Company 3rd Regiment during the Revolutionary War from August 1780 to March 3, 1783.  The house has been restored thanks to the work of many dedicated volunteers, businesses, local and state government, along with family members and the Pasadena Business Association.
