This is probably the most popular hike in the Superstition Mountains. It is quite crowded on the weekends during the hiking season, so get to the parking lot early. It is a moderate hike and is only 4.5 miles and takes about 3 hours round trip. The trail gradually climbs 1366 ft, and will get your heart pumping. Once at Fremont Saddle, the view of Weaver's needle is breathtaking. It is a great hike to introduce yourself and others to the area.
