We brought in Boomerang to be crossed with some of our Lady In Red and Just Like Honey daughters while this guy is keeping with some of the same basic lines we like to work with. Boomerang is extremely deep and wide throughout while Mac is very long and dairy. Boomerang's dam Tawari is only a first freshener and already proving herself with multiple GCH wins in the show ring. We waited a long time for this little buckling after a buckling by the same breeding the year before didn't work out due to a health issue. Thank you Dana for repeating this breeding and keeping us on the top of the list! Sadly Jupiter passed away shortly before Orion's birth so he is one of the very last Jupiter kids. Orion should work into our herd nicely being line-bred closely on Zenith and tying in with our Honey line with Jupiter. His full sister in the Alethia herd has been showing very successfully as a milker. SOLD

Jiminy combines some of our herd favorites-CH Poppy Patch FM Betty Boop and Twin Creeks Rebel W/O A Cause*S. His two younger full sisters both freshened with beautiful udders. Full sister CH Poppy Patch Not Quite An Angel finished her permanent championship in ADGA. On the evening of 5/27 Jiminy must have heard we were downsizing the buck herd and needed a way to make himself the most valuable guy in the herd because he jumped over the fence to reach a doe in heat and caught his rear leg going over suffering a very bad compound fracture. He had orthopedic surgery resulting in metal pins though the bones above and below the break(just below the hock) but unfortunately after 12 weeks pinned and casted the bones failed to heal properly so Jiminy's leg has been amputated. Jiminy is having no problems getting around on 3 legs and doing his "job" just fine with a little help from a plastic balancing leg attached while breeding. His first daughters are freshening here and in other herds with beautiful udders! He is a buck I regret not having used more in previous years. We plan to use him for some of our top does this year as at his age this very well be the last season before he starts shooting blanks. Jiminy gave us some gorgeous 2013 kids. For double insurance that his line will continue on here we decided on retaining both of his sons out of CH Lady In Red.
