Trick Miracles?

Have you ever put a BIOS passcode on your desktop or laptop computer? I am not talking about a Windows passcode which one can click on "Cancel" and proceed, nor pressing F2 through F10 before Windows launches after starting the computer to bypass the Windows startup files.

I am referring to a BIOS passcode which you can set up to prevent those who do not know that passcode from getting into and mis-adjusting the BIOS settings of the computer, but even prevent the launching of any software program, including Windows and the dangerous Erase, Delete, FDisk, Format, and other functions of Windows which would disable and destroy itself.

Some mindlessly retort: "Why be so picky about exactly-correct Bible translation and manuscripts? Everyone will get to heaven anyway if they have the basics. Don't sweat the small stuff, nor get hung up on the details."

After setting up a BIOS passcode, there are at least a million types of wrong passcodes one could type into the computer to try to launch either DOS or Windows, and at least a billion equally-incorrect variations of those wrong passcodes one could type in. NONE of them will get one into that computer, and thus the computer is virtually junk if you forget that particular very-specific BIOS passcode (which code is both case-sensitive AND sequentially-ordered). [And as they say: "What part of V E R Y do you not understand - the "v" the "e" the "r" or the "y?"]

Consider the VERY-specific light frequencies lasers lase at. Extremely precise! Consider the plus-or-minus millionths-of-a-millimeter tolerances for bearings in modern car engines and wheels! Consider the nearly-incredible precision of your quartz watch evenly dividing each second!

In determining truly-accurate Bible Text (both genuinely inerrant and infallible relating to the original autographs and which Word of the Lord abides forever thanks to that Jealous Executioner called The Holy Spirit) in the commonly-accepted "original" languages (e.g. Hebrew for the Old Testament, and Greek for the New Testament), we must have a ONE and ONLY authentic Standard Text whereby we judge, expose, and reject deviant alternate texts.

For true Christians genuinely possessed by the [actual] Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ, THE bonafide Text is the ben Asher Masoretic Hebrew Text (without apocrypha) as edited by Kittel as the Old Testament, plus the New-Testament Trinitarian Greek Text edited by Scrivener. Using that Standard, we judge the ben Chayyim Hebrew text of the Old Testament as an inaccurate concoction, and the Westcott-Hort, Nestle-Aland, and United Bible Society texts as equally corrupt and satanically deviant.

Some of the corrupt English translators imply that passages of their [spurious] translaton are "based on more ancient and more reliable manuscripts."

Why is "more ancient" supposedly better? An old copy of PLAYBOY is sometimes as lewd as a new and recent issue. Old copies of non-scientific flat-earth antiquities from the Spanish Inquisition are certainly not on par with up-to-date NASA photographs of our planet. And how can they tell what is "more ancient?" By the non-existent copywrite date on it? By how fast little pieces of it burns in the flame? By the yellowing of the parchments?

WHAT is a "manuscript?" Is this webauthor writing one now?

WHAT is meant by "more reliable?" "Reliable" is WHOSE opinion?" What is the acid test for "reliability?" The wrong opinion of the 400 idolatrous prophets of Baal? All of the majority-opinion lying clergy-prophets except Micaiah? The arrogant and belligerant blatterings of doubt-inciting heretics? Christ's Holy Spirit is The Convincer....not the presumptuous and lying babbling of faithless fools.

This webauthor, while recently browsing within a so-called "Christian" bookstore near where he lives, has analyzed a few of the puffed and slickly-promoted productions calling themselves "holy bibles." He checked into certain pet verses of each, such as whether Numbers 5:18 had the phrase 'unbind/loosening her hair' or instead 'uncovering her head;' whether II Samuel 13:18 had the phrase 'long-sleeved full-length gown' or instead 'multicolored gown of diverse colors;' whether Proverbs 5:19 had the word 'breasts' or instead 'affection;' whether Song 7:1 had 'footsteps' or instead 'feet' and Song 7:5 had 'flowing locks' or instead simply 'hair;' whether Isaiah 3:17 had 'secret parts' or instead 'foreheads or scalps;' whether Isaiah 47:2 had 'uncover your legs' or instead 'uncover your thigh;' whether Jeremiah 2:25 had 'feet unshod' or instead 'shoes worn out from running;' whether Ezekiel 16:25 had 'parted your feet' or instead 'prostituted yourself;' whether I Cor. 6:9 had 'nor effeminate nor sodomites' or instead anything else;' whether I Cor. 7:1 had 'to not touch a woman' or instead 'to not marry or be celibate;' whether I Cor. 11:16 had 'no such custom' instead of 'no other custom;' whether I Timothy 5:14 had 'younger women' instead of 'younger widows;" and whether I John 5:7 had "three witnesses, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit" or something else instead. It gets serious when mistranslators screw up the wording of the book of Revelation which nafarious and deliberately errant screwing up will invaribly and inevitably result in fulfulment of the terrible penalty against the screwers revealed by this frightening warning from an impartial God who will indeed burn and torment the disobedient forever in the eternal flames of outer darkness: "Who adds to these words, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, and whoever takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the Tree of Life and Holy City" (or something to that effect, if you will pardon my paraphrasing).

Examine for yourself what the Big Four typically-available translations (e.g. The King James Version, Holman's Christian Standard Bible, The New King James Version, and the New Revised Standard Version) state for the above-mentioned references.

This webauthor found that the TNIV, NLT, NAS95, NCV, CEV, NAB, Good News, and certain translations have so much inaccuracy that they are not even worth considering. It is not a matter of improved free-flowing, non-awkward, and non-clumsy semantical and linguistic styles, but instead involves totally-non-acceptable omission of vital textual wording while instead imposing extraneous idiomatic insertions with other-meanings-possible onnotations. Bottom-paged footnotes of alternate renderings simply add to the confusion of which is correct along with the editor's irrational excuses for why the alternate was not put in as the main text and why it was really necessary to even mention such alternatives at all.

To illustrate, a driver who is missing one spark plug might as a substitute add a fancy tachometer, but his vehicle is not going to be happy. To presume the alternator is superfluous and instead install a chrome tailpipe will soon result in the vehicle being dead in the water, so to speak.

One should always be wary of "study bibles" which purport that a Hebrew or Greek word "can have different interpretations depending upon the context, the customs and idioms of the times, poor grammar, etc." so that the phrase "red [stoplight]" can or might not only mean "green" [stoplight] but also or even "red and green" [stoplight] plus perhaps "red or green" [stoplight]. Police and sheriffs are particularly adverse to such pseudo-scholarship subversiveness.

The good-guy Bible translators state that certain English translations purporting to be "The Holy Bible" (such as the New Testaments of the RSV, NASB, NIV, NLT, etc.) omitted and changed crucial words of the Text based upon the corrupt Greek texts they used for translation. The bad-guy "bible" translators state that the KJV purporting to the "The Holy Bible" added crucial words and changed Text.

It is quite obvious that the bad guys are liars and heretics simply by the fact that their mistranslations frequently skip sequential verse numberings! Even a toddler can count sequentially, but apparently such sequential-numbering necessity is not understood nor accepted by fool heretics concocting NON-accurate mistranslations blasphemously dishonestly and deceptively mis-called "accurate" for the sake of greed-craving controversy-based sales and money!

Now, about miracles.

Have we ever lost our keys or wallet somewhere in the house? Now that this webauthor has humbly come down to join you the reader on your level, let me re-phrase it to you the reader: "Have YOU ever lost your keys or wallet in the house?"

The operative word is: YOU!

YOU lost your keys or wallet. They did not lose themselves.

So do not state against them: "Where did they go?" Because they did not go anywhere. YOU misplaced them. YOU mislaid them. They did not grow feet and walk away. They are not "hiding from you." YOU are to blame and at fault for not seeing nor knowing where they are! Do NOT blame God's inanimate and benign keys and wallet. Blame yourself!

It is not characteristic of the Lord to trick you by causing them to disappear and thus cause you dismay. He has not and does not purported "miracles" of that type. It is true that "the secret things belong to God." But it is also true that "God does nothing without first telling his servants the prophets."

We have all had much experience with nature and natural entities in real life since we were born. We know that God the Creator "has established the world which cannot be moved" in a sense that phenomena and processes of his created Nature have always been, are always now, and probably will always be perfectly consistent and reliable. We know that His laws of physics and nature are not now being nor ever have been violated, altered, corrupted, changed, added to, nor taken away from. We would long ago have gone crazy and died in terrified acute paralysis if such was not the case.

Yet, the Bible contains examples of "miracles" and "signs."

Have such "miracles" ever violated God's laws of physics and nature?

God the Creator has and continues to define what is real and not an illusion. The very real and non-imagined cosmos we see and hear and touch with our hands "was made out of things which do not appear" - not only regarding their first coming into existence out of nothing, but subatomically continuing to exist as mere toroidal rings of force, the super-rapid changes of and within which our eyes detect as visible light.

Truly-occurring 'miracles' are supernaturally created phenomena temporarily or permanently exhibiting themselves as new natural phenomena, working in combination and in accord with already-existing natural phenomena. Even though "God's works were finished from the foundation of the world," those miracles are frequently ONE-time phenomenon coming into being for the first time and/or exhibiting themselves for the first time because of some Divine willful purpose of the Creator and His intentions.

We have read about a burning bush that was not consumed, opening the Red Sea, the Sun standing still in the sky, a sundial shadow going backwards, dead people becoming alive, axe heads floating, fire twice descending down and destroying a troop of 50 soldiers both times, men walking around within a fiery furnance not being burned alive, a woman virgin conceiving a babe without male help, water made into wine, fish-and-bread multiplication from a boy's sack lunch, those born blind being given sight, walking on water, simply speaking blind people into sight and dead people to life, simply speaking hemorrhaging inside a woman to promptly stop hemorrhaging and speaking a withered hand into immediate restoration, bodily ascending into the clouds, enemies being pronounced blind and immediately going blind,. And "angels" appearing now and then throughout Scripture.

Has any of the above ever violated any of the Lord's laws of physics and nature? What clearly happened was of supernatural creation, seemingly (albeit temporarily) overriding/overruling (or better yet, combining with) God's natural entities and processes He already established back in the beginning. There is simply no other rational explanation, and such accounts of "miracles" must of necessity either be considered lying fables or actual history which has truly happened in the past and can never be changed nor altered. We cannot consider it BOTH ways, but either one or the other. We must "either pee or get off the pot" (as gross as such a phrase seems to some).

Not all God's saints survived attack nor the aid of miracles. Every day the obituaries contain notices of the demise of even the Lord's elect. Both Abel and Saint Stephen were lethally wounded by the natural-phenomena objects which struck them down dead. Such benign objects did not change nor conform to adjust in accomodation to them, but such objects are themselves not to be condamned. [Remember, it is not the bullets to blame for murders, but rather the murderers, and not the alcohol at fault for drunkenness but instead the alcoholic]. An actual cross and nails did their mortal damage to the beaten and bleeding Christ on the cross without being adjusted miraculously to allow His life to be spared.

But enough saints of the Almighty have miraculously survived in sometimes very strange, unusual, and bizarre ways to cause any demon to violently shudder in terror at the realization of being potentially countered and overthrown by a superior Divine power and the sudden holy whims of such a Being.

The faith required to believe that such "signs" actually happened as described is the same faith it takes to believe that there is in fact only one TRUE Hebrew/Greek Text of the entire Holy Bible (Hebrew for the Old Testament because of the Jewish/Hebrew nature composing and preserving it....and Greek because of the Alpha-Omega nature of the New-Testament Text and the Greek-speaking Greek churches it was conveyed to (e.g. Corinth, Galatia, Colossae, Thessalonica), with resulting manuscripts through the first few centuries, through the Middle Ages, the Reformation, etc.) of such being in Greek only instead of Hebrew, with perhaps a few Latin manuscripts thankfully preserved by Antioch-church types like probably-Latin-fluent Cornelius and fellow-Christian Romans indicated in the book of Acts as we also keep in mind ramifications of the identification sign hanging above Christ on His cross written in Hebrew, Greek and Latin which doubtlessly was remembered both by the Son-of-God-acknowledging Roman centurion standing near Christ's cross and a no-doubt retaliation-minded-against-coercive-jews Pilate who refused to change the Roman sign but probably did his part later on to cause the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. and trouble-causing jews therein (reminiscent of a retributional future Nazi-caused holocaust centuries later against those anti-Christians and their progenie who Christ, on His way to His crucifixion, told to weep for themselves and their children).
