SnowQueen ----------------------------

--Forgive me Father, for I have sinned. Forgive me Father, for I am sinning.... Here are my confessions:

--I have not read the first Deadly book yet! I could not find it at the bookstore I usually go to. Then last week, they had all four books of the deadly series. I got the first and last book.

--I did not make dinner three times this week for my family!! We ate out because I couldn't tear myself away from reading the Deadly Desire novel. I might add that the house is truely a mess.

--I pulled an "all nighter" and got one hour of sleep reading the deadly desire book this week. Went to work though. Then took an extra long break=--went to my car in 90 degree heat--and reread chapter five of deadly desire. I came back to the office, everyone asking where was I? I was all sweaty from the heat ( and the book I might add) I thought to myself " I must be absolutely crazy!"

--My husband doesn't like me reading these novels, because he feels I neglect the family.--he wants to hear the really "good parts" I'm too embarrassed to read them to him. I might break down and read to him someday. I'm afraid of riddicule.

--I have read Firestorm five times (front to back) and continuously reread my favorite parts hundreds of times. I sometimes daydream and think about my favorite parts. My sons'name is Brent--close but I always think Brett is a girl's name.

--I have nothing to read, so I'm gonna reread The Darkest Heart again until next installment is out.But first I have to read Deadly Love.

--I retrieved The Conqueror to check out the hunk on the cover. I didn't know that was Fabio!!

Susie-----------------

--I was impatient and bought The Third Heiress and House of Dreams in hardcover, which I am usually too cheap to do. Then when the paperbacks came out, I hid my hardcovers and lied to my husband, just so I could get the paperbacks too, since I collect the paperbacks.

--I bought my copy of Innocent Fire from a used book store, therefore, you probably didn't get the profits.

--I read the Bragg saga out of sequence. Started with the 3rd generation, I think it was Nichole the Duke.

TnCsMomi-----------------

--I used to sneak Harlequin romances to school and read them behind school books. I frequently spout historical facts that I have in fact learned from reading historical romances My seven year old already knows if he wants a yes answer to ask me while I read.

Karenvonk-----------------

--I have to confess my husband does not approve of romance novels(they hurt his feelings )so I tell him I am getting them for my mom, since she can't get out much. Or if she has some for me, I tell him they are murder mysteries.

I have my sons watch pbs in the mornings and let them eat in front of the tv(we have off white carpet), just so I can finish a book.

ariyel-----------------

--I have gotton embarresed at work though when a guy who i work with approaches me and says what are you reading. I turn all red! but i do admitt its romance, they usually just laugh.

Dina ---------------

--I HATE Nora Roberts because her books are never sexy enough. Interesting plots and character developement are important but whats the point without hot/steamy love scenes?

Whenever I tell people what I'm reading I lie and say something like I'm rereading To Kill a Mockingbird or something.

I tore the cover off the first romance book (Johanna Lindsey) I ever read so my mom wouldn't notice it what it was.

Reneeb-----------------

--Ok. For my confession. I actually sat my husband down the day after I stayed up until the wee hours reading DD. I sat him down and told him he would have to bear with me for a few days because I was going to be a little bit depressed. I explained about not knowing what would happen to everyone in 1902 I'm sure he wrote this down in the little notebook he keeps for ammo in case we ever get divorced. Kidding. I hope.

--I'll know I'm really bad if I start dreaming about 1902. I do occasionally dream about the people on my soap operas. For real.

--Recent confession:

--I have been getting into trouble for getting on this website. My husbands says "Are you on the Brenda Joyce board again?" Today he caught me and finally looked and all he said was, "So, that's Brenda Joyce". She's taking the flack for all of you guys, I guess. I stick up for us all though.

Lify-----------------

--I am still embarrassed to read romance books in public (I have been reading romance books only for a year...or since Deadly Love). But I still do it if the cover is not too embarrassing.

--When I read the deadly series I sort of kinda "forgot" a few times to do my homework for college classes.

--I still have the hots for Shoz

Lara-----------------

--My confession

--I havent taken time to read any romance novels for 3 months now. Wanting to start the deadly series, but putting it off. waiting for all the books so I dont have to wait sooo long between each one.

--Since reading Brenda's books I cant enjoy any other author. None compare Shoked when i moved and the library has none of her books.

--I also dont start her deadly series because I tend to not do ANYTHING else when i start to read her books.

Mercedes-----------------

-- I BUY PURSES THAT WILL FIT PAPERBACKS.

--I WILL FIND OR MAKE ANY TIME TO READ. I HAVE EVEN TOLD MY BOYFRIEND TO GO AHEAD AND GO OUT WITH YOUR FRIENDS, JUST SO I CAN HAVE TIME FOR MYSELF TO READ. (BY THE WAY MY BOYFRIEND TOTALLY SUPPORTS MY HABIT)

--I HAVE HORRIBLE SLEEPING HABITS BECAUSE IF THE BOOK IS GOOD (AND ALL OF BRENDA'S ARE) I WILL PULL AN ALL-NIGHTER. THANK GOD I DON'T HAVE KIDS YET!

--Also while viewing and responding to this message board, I am in my school's lab. I am suppose to be typing anwsers to philosphy "focus" questions, how ironic right? The truth is when we are discussing Hobbes interpretation of "passion" in class I have Brenda's book in my hand and have the strongest urge to raise my hand and give her interpretation of passion!

Romanticheart-----------------

--I swear at 2 am that we are out of milk just so i can run to the store and buy another romance book ,read ll night long then say well i just coulnt sleep ,or there is always my favorite.. What do you mean i sat up reading all night ? I fell asleep watching a movie on the couch i just got up a few minutes before you did! mean while stuffed in the couch cushion is my newest book and im ready for another already.

--I read one a day and sometimes i will reread ones i all ready have Am i obsessed or what?
