It is important to feed you horse twice a day. You must feed them the right amount of food or they could go hungry or become sick.
Grain
HLH recommends you use Co-op's Grain. You need to feed them 1 gallon of feed two times a day, one in the morning and the other in the evening.
Hay
Although regular hay is good, we recommend you use alfalfa and orchard grass. One cube in the morning and one on the evening.
Water
In the summer, it is recommended that you water your horse three times a day in a ten gallon bucket. In the winter, you do not have to water them as much, only two times a day.
It is important that you follow the insrtuctions on feeding your horse, because if you do something wrong, they could become sick.
