HOMER PITTARD CAMPUS SCHOOL
Homer Pittard Campus School is a laboratory school on the Middle Tennessee
State University Campus. It is run jointly by M.T.S.U. and the Rutherford County
School System. The purpose of this page is to keep our K-6 students and
M.T.S.U. education majors informed concerning happenings in our library and
to provide links to interesting and educational sites.

MISSION STATEMENT
Pittard Campus School Library's mission is to provide appropriate materials
representing all genre's of children's literature for kindergarten through
sixth grade students, teachers, and pre-service teachers. The library
creates an environment which encourages love and appreciation of literature
and development of research skills necessary for a sound educational foundation.
The library further provides such literature to supplement and enhance the
school's curriculum. Additionally, the library provides a laboratory for
pre-service teachers and librarians/media specialists.
