Q: What does it mean to be saved?

A: To be "saved" means that you are set apart from the world, that you are God's child. Saved from eternal life of hell when you die, or when Jesus returns for his church (his people).means you have asked Jesus into your life and that you give your life for him to live through you. to become a Christian this is a very important part, to turn your life over to him.

Q: Why did Jesus have to die?

A: in order for you to be "saved" this had to be, He had to send the ultimate sacrifice.. HE'S ONLY SON ! when Jesus was on the cross He took on the sins of the world so that you may option this free gift of life. God cannot tolerate any sin, so when Jesus was on the cross and took on the sins of the world .God had to turn his back on Jesus at the point . Jesus then died, went to heaven and put HIS BLOOD on God's alter. and arose from death the third day.

Q: Can't my good deeds be enough to get me into heaven?

A: NO, although good deeds are great they do NOT compensate the Blood of Jesus. Jesus paid for your salvation, there is nothing left for you to do, except accept it. everyone was born a sinner and without Jesus you are a sinner who is unforgiving. God cannot tolerate sin so therefore your deeds have no bearing on this matter. Jesus said " it's not of works lest any man should boast" he is speaking of salvation ( the ticket into heaven).

Q: Why aren't good deeds good enough for God To see I am A Good person?

A: Good deeds are not recognized because you aren't a Christian, God doesn't know you.He looks at you and sees sin and turns away. the buck stops there so to speak.

Q: Why aren't we good enough to make it on our own?

A: IF we were good enough to make it on our own, what would we need Christ for? we would already have all we needed, Jesus wouldn't have had to die and sin would also be present in heaven. which would also make heaven not a very special place.

Q: What is a sinner?

A: I am a sinner , You are a sinner..... we all are sinners. a sinner is a person who goes against God's will, either by things they do ...things they say ..or even things you think! we all were born sinners, But for those who accept Jesus into their hearts and lives .. they are forgiven . we are human here and Jesus knows that , He took our place so God could forgive us of our sins. a person who says that they never sin is a liar, because of our human minds and flesh we sin without even knowing it.

Q: What does "repent" mean?

A: To "repent" means to realize that you are a sinner and that you have full knowledge of this and that you are truly sorry for your sins. "repent" means to be truly sorry and asking Jesus to forgive you.

Q: Once I am saved, will I have to live without sinning?

A: NO,, while you are forgiven, you are still human and no matter how careful you are, you will never be free from sinning. not to say that we shouldn't try, we should ! but we also have to repent for the sins we acknowledge as being wrong.

Q: How do I get saved?

A:1st YOU MUST BELIEVE then you must realize that you are a sinner and that you need God in your heart and to take over your life. 2nd you must repent for your sins.. tell God that you are truly sorry for things that you have done. 3rd, you must ask God to come into your life and live through you. and by faith believe that he will forgive you and that you have been saved.

Q: I got saved a long time ago, Why do I still have doubts?

A: As Christians we all have doubts from time to time. this is Satan's way of tormenting God's children. doubt can cut deep and even interrupt our fellowship with God. the best remedy that I have found for "doubting" is to tell Satan that you claim the blood of Jesus and that you are CHRIST'S child and he must go. this is a slap in the face for Satan.

Q: I am saved, but I Don't feel anything, shouldn't I have Some kind of feeling?

A: NOT always, some people experience a big feeling, while some don't . this however does not mean that you were or weren't saved. feelings have nothing to do with salvation.feelings change but God never changes.

Q: Do feelings and salvation go together?

A: NO,, feelings have nothing at all to do with Christ's free gift of salvation. feelings are feelings.. they come and go and change like the wind. never put faith into feelings , rather put all of your faith into Christ.

Q: If you don't have a big experience when you get saved.. are you still saved?

A: MOST certainly! some people don't have a BIG experience while some do. God doesn't send people a sign that they are saved, if he did ..what would we need faith for? if you have a big experience or a big change that's great! if not, this doesn't mean you are any less saved than the people who do have them. some of us were saved at a very young age , since being so young we have not been into the world, we don't see a big change because we didn't experience alot of sin.

Q: Is my salvation really that important to God?

A: YES, mainly because you believe that he is truly God and that Jesus is who he said he was, the son of GOD.God doesn't want anyone to perish (die) , he takes joy in his children just as a parent would take joy in their own children. you salvation also means that you heaven chosen to walk with him and turn from sin and Satan.

Q: When I get saved , does this mean I will no longer be a sinner?

A: NO,, sorry to tell you this , but you will always be human while you walk on this earth, therefore being human we all sin, the only difference between the saved and the lost sinners is that the "saved" are forgiven, by the blood of Jesus that they accepted when they chose the free gift of salvation.

Q: Does salvation mean I am not allowed to have fun?

A: most certainly NOT, Christians are allowed to have fun! there is no commandment that says that fun is no longer allowed once you decided to become a Child of Christ. all fun is not a sin, while old habits and the world like to tell us that without certain things we cannot have fun. this is not true. fun is based on a inner emotion, ask God to help you find the fun things in life that doesn't include doing things that would make God unhappy with you.

Q: Once I am saved , If I should sin, will I lose my salvation?

A: No, salvation is FOREVER if you were truly saved. and you will sin after you are saved unless you die. we are human and we sin as easily as breathing. you salvation is not based on your sins anymore because you were forgiven of them once you asked Jesus into your life, this means past, present and future sins.. this doesn't not mean you won't ever have to repent again, you should be sorry for the sins that you acknowledge are wrong. once you are saved, its forever, no one can pluck you out of Jesus's hand.

Q: How many times do I need to get saved for it to stick?

A: ONCE! Jesus died ONE time a cross , you can only be saved ONE time. many religions believe that you can lose your salvation, but if this were so it would be saying that Jesus would have to die daily for the sins of the world and that He lied when He said "IT IS FINISHED". there are many passages in God's word that proves that salvation is eternal (forever) . and if you truly believe in Christ you will also realize that He is great enough to keep you saved.

Q: What is a "soul"?

A: a soul is the only part of a person that never dies, the best way to look at this is to realize that your body is only a shell that contains your soul. your soul is the part of you that makes you who you are....the real you so to speak. it is your spirit.

Q: If I don't accept Jesus into my heart but sustain from sin, will I still go to heaven?

A: NO,, there is but only one way into the kingdom of God and that is to be saved. humans while in human flesh cannot live without sin. you cannot judge what is sin without God. we cannot understand all of the sins that we have committed, with out help from the Holy spirit which dwells in us once we are saved. salvation is the only key to open heaven's gate. that is why God sent his only son to die so that through his blood we were able to be in God's kingdom.

Q: If I don't say "yes" to salvation, Is it the same as saying "no"?

A: YES, God wants a definite answer...yes or no......with whom do you choose to walk with . if you say no not Jesus there is but one other choice left and that's to walk in sin and with Satan.

Q: When Jesus was on the cross , what did he mean when he said " IT IS FINISHED"?

A: when Jesus died on the cross for our sins .. just before closing his eyes in death HE said " it is finished". his job was done.. not half done but finished. he died for the lost ones. all that was left for us to do was to accept this free gift that washed us clean enough to enter into God's kingdom. we cannot get there ourselves and we would never be good enough to enter on our own. Jesus did it all.

Q: Does God send you a sign to let you know that you are saved?

A: NO,, there are no flashing lights or ringing bells to let you know that you were saved. this is what faith is all about. we don't see Him , yet we believe that He is there. and that HE is big enough to keep us forever.

Q: What exactly is prayer?

A: prayer is simply talking to God, you do not have to have a special speech prepared for him each night, talk to him as you would your best friend. you wouldn't repeat the same conversation to your friend would you?, well you wouldn't to your savior either.

Q: To ask God into your heart, what is a good prayer to say?

A: simply tell God that you have realize that you are a sinner and that you are lost , and that you know that you need him in your life. go to him and tell him why you are there talking to him.

Q: How does a person pray?

A: simply talk, say what's on your heart . prayer doesn't only consist of asking for things but to also take time and worship him ! thank him for all that you have and all that you will have to come!

Q: How can I be sure that God hears me or is listening?

A: He is always listening, He wants to hear from you ! so why would he turn you off while you are so loved by him. would you ignore someone you love? well neither would God.

Q: What if my sins are too bad for God to forgive?

A: NO sin is too great that God cannot forgive it. This is why Jesus died... so that we can be forgiven. all sin is sin. there are none bigger to him they are all the same... a white lie can be as bad a murder in the eyes of God.....sin is sin.

Q: Is there any sins that God will not forgive? such as witchcraft,murder, adultery, ect..?

A: JUST ONE...the only sin that cannot be forgiven is blasphemy against the holy ghost which means to attribute the work of God to the work of the devil. example: in one instance Jesus cast out devils and the Pharisee's said that Jesus did it by the devil.

Q: If I don't read my bible after I am saved, Will I still go to heaven?

A: After you get saved you will want to read Gods word and you need to read it in order to grow in the grace and knowledge of the savior. if you don't read the word of God you will suffer worse as the things that comes in life such as the lose of a loved one . Gods word is to help us and use it as your daily guide in your walk with HIM.

Q: What if I am too old to live for Christ now, will he refuse to save me?

A: NO, God is NOT willing that any should perish but that ALL should come to repentance and except His plan of salvation . yes you can be a child of God at any age from 5 to 100 or how ever old you may be ,if you hear Him calling to your heart ...let Him in . you will be saved!

Q: When is it too late to be saved?

A: It is too late when you say no for the final time at DEATHS door. and you open your eyes in hell cause you have rejected Him .

Q: Must I be baptized to be saved?

A: Some Christians believe so cause of certain passages in scripture ...but the apostle Paul plainly tells the church at corinth that God didn't send him to baptize but to preach the Gospel of Christ ,that the CROSS of Christ wouldn't be of none effect .Jesus Himself said that if ye believe on ME ,you Have Eternal Life . baptism is a church ordnance that shows the church that you have accepted Him as your savior .it is a picture of being buried with Christ in His death and being raised with Him in His resurrection . baptism is NOT a part of getting saved its what you do AFTER you are saved when you join a local church .

Q: What does "Baptism" mean to me?

Q: Will Homosexuals be allowed into heaven?

A: Homosexuality is an abomination against God ...meaning that God detests the act of the homosexuals cause HE didn't intend for man or a woman to do those things. God does however save homosexuals from their sins and will forgive them of their sins and when HE does they are no longer homosexuals cause the power of Christ changes a persons interests and habits that are sinful and gives them NEW desires to please the one who saves them just as HE does to any sinner even if he is not a homosexual, the murderer is No longer a murderer, the prostitute is no longer a prostitute and so on ...

Q: will I have to be a Jesus freak once I am saved

( wear special clothes and stuff?) A: Well..some take certain passages of the bible and teach that way but God is interested in saving souls not changing clothes. as long as your not naked and wearing something that pertains to your gender.

Q: Who do I address my prayers to?

A: Jesus taught the desiples to pray ..."Our Father which is in heaven ..."our prayers are directed to our heavenly Father which is God and open with praise and then you petition Him for your needs and you pray in Faith of the Lord Jesus ..amen

Q: Who do I confess my sins to?

A: first john 1:9 tells us That if we confess our Sins, He is faithful to forgive us andcleanse us from ALL unrighteousness. period no mention of going to a priest ..as a child of God we can go direct to Him alone .only God can forgive sins!!

Q: How can I be sure that there is really a heaven and a hell?

A: In the heart of every man even the atheist the belief that there is a God still exists orwhy would the atheist be SO DEFENSIVE if he was not worried about his after life ..romans 1 18 19 teaches us that God reveals His self to us in our consciences first ,thenwe can see that there is a God by looking at the creation that HE has made .look at you body for example ,how it is made to repair its self when it is sick with its immune system and it heals its self when you get cut or bruised ..look at you internal organs functions how it all operates and each one organ is important to the other !!!YES THERE IS A GOD AND HE IS IN CONTROL!!!

Q: Can someone who dies and goes to hell be "prayed" out ?

A: NO, ...Jesus gave us the story of the rich man that died and in Hell he lifted up his eyes being in torments and asked for water and wanted to send a beggar to bring him water and he was told that there was a great gulf fixed in between them that once one passed from one side they could not go back to the other side .Luke 16 :19-31 Hell is forever!

Q: Why am I so important to God?

A: Mankind is the only living being that was made in Gods image and given an eternal soul that will live forever ...somewhere, and notice how that mankind has the ability to be affectionate, he is ever learning ,able to think and make decisions on his own .Every person has an eternal soul that will live forever and it is important to God that you be with Him cause He loves you so much that HE gave His Son for you personally!

Q: If God is real, why can't I see him?

A: This flesh is not able to actually see God ,even Moses had to turn his face as God walked by on mount Sinai as He give Moses the commandments . But He reveals His self to us by His creation and in our consciences.

Q: How will I know what's right and wrong once I am saved?

A: When you get saved God comes into your heart to live and abide ,the Holy Spirit comes in and He is called the comforter ,God sends Him into the believers heart to lead and to guide the believer as they study His word ...the BIBLE .

Q: If we are BORN sinners, does this mean that babies that die go to hell?

A: NO, ,a child doesn't understand that he was born into a state of sin and as long as he doesn't understand that his actions are wrong in the sight of God then he is not accountable but the very time that one realizes that they have done wrong or sins then they are accountable of their actions .notice you don't have to teach a child to lie .he does it on his own very well ..its the sin nature that indwells in everyone of us inherited from our natural father ADAM !

Q: What is the age of accountability?

A: The age of accountability some say 12 but the bible does not teach that ..the bible teaches that when we realize that we have sinned , then we are accountable for our actions .Sometimes it may be about the age of the teen years or maybe a little older and sometimes younger. Its never too soon to teach your children about Christ and His love for US!! some have even got saved at the age of 5 !

Q: Will I have an "experience" or some special event happen when I say yes to Christ?

A: Spiritualy YES but physically no .God doesn't save the flesh HE saves the soul and changes the person into a different creature HE said. old pass away behold all things become NEW . HE gives you a different out look on life !then you will know the true meaning of LIFE!!

Q: How often must I pray or read my bible to remain saved?

A: Salvation is eternal ...Jesus gives us eternal Life not probation . the believer will desire to learn More about their Lord and savior when they get saved ,they should have a desire to read His word and to talk to Him in prayer ,however the Christian can become lazy and slow down on these things in which at this time he needs to pray and ask for Gods help.

Q: Will God save ANYONE that asks?

A: HE said "whosoever will ,let him come and drink of the water of life freely. If you feel the need for Christ in your life ,ask Him to save you and HE will!! the Holy Spirit is calling you ,wont you let Him in???

Q: Will God accept me just as I am right now?

A: Yes ,acknowledge that you are a sinner and ask Him to save you and HE will.

Q: Do I need to change my life before I hand it over to Christ?

A: Do you take a shower before you get in the bathtub??? NO .you cant change your life ,God wouldn't have to have sent His Son if man could do itwithout Him. ONLY the Blood of Jesus can make you white as Snow!!

Q: Why can't God tolerate sin?

A: God is a HOLY and Righteous God and HE is without sin.

Q: Why did God make me a sinner?

A: God didn't make you a sinner ,we were all born in that condition cause when Adamsinned ...in his loins was all the seed of mankind and we inherited the sin nature from him.

Q: Wasn't Jesus a sinner while he was on earth?

A: No HE was virgin born and no fault was found in Him .it was proven that HE was whoHe said HE was when HE was tempted by the devil on the mount. in Luke CH.4

Q: Why is salvation so important?

A: Without Christ ,you are dead in trespasses and sins, it is the spiritual state of all man.without Christ its hell.

Q: If God already knows my sins, why must I confess them?

A: Confessing is acknowledging to God that you are responsible alone for your actions.saying what HE says about it ..its sin .and we have offend His Holy law and only Christ could keep the law cause He was without sin and what HE lived and what HE died for gets put to our account in heaven ...His righteousness for our sins!

Q: I do drugs and can't stop , will God save an addict?

A: YES HE has delivered many drug abusers and alcoholics and pornography addicts.there is nothing that God cant save you from cause He died for all sins.

Q: When I get saved , what will God expect from me?

A: To continue to trust Him to be you everything that you need in life .He wants to be your all ,your everything .HE supplies all our needs .

Q: I have small children, when should I tell them about God?

A: The bible teaches ..train up a child in the way it should go and it will not depart from it.Jesus said forbid them not but LET them come unto me for of such is the Kingdom ofGod!! let the Lord have them before the devil gets them !

Q: I feel too unworthy for God to save me, what's the use?

A: If you feel unworthy my friend, then you are not far from the kingdom of God because it takes that state of mind and heart to see that man cant make it by himself .HE needsJesus to save him, not his works!

Q: When I get saved, Does this mean that God will spare me from having troubles in mylife?

A: NOPE ! God will give us the Grace that it takes to make it through the trials of life .HE said MY grace is sufficient! the trails of life cause us to trust Him more and lean on him and grow in HIS wonderful abundance of Grace and mercy!!!

Q: What are some good books I can read after I am saved?

A: I would suggest that you read the gospel of John first in the Bible then the other gospels . I would suggest a commentary on the Bible by a conservative minister like ,J. Vernon Mcgee, or Charles Stanley, or Billy Graham . and as far as translations of the bible king James ,new king James and new American standard are the most accurate translations into modern English .I would also suggest a study Bible .it has notes and outlines that are there to help you understand the text that you are reading ,good study Bibles are Scolfield study System, The Life application bible, or a Ryrie study bible in which you can get at your local Christian book store.

Q: Where is a good place to start reading in the bible?

A: The Gospel of John. is the best place to start I have found.

Q: I am Jewish, therefore I do not have to get saved .. right?

A: Jesus said to the Pharisees "if you believe not that I AM HE ,you will die in your sins" the word of God says Romans 3 23 ..ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God." and if ONE died for ALL the ALL were DEAD !

Q: Why do Christians act like my life is so important, are they working on getting into heaven by converting me into a "believer"?

A: NO, they are concerned about your eternal soul and want to see you in heaven!

Q: I got saved years ago, but I can't remember when, does this make a difference?

A: NO ,not remembering when as in the exact date is not important ,remembering HE did and that your life isn't the same is what's counts !Christ is a life changer !!

Q: What are Christians?

A: Believers in Christ who follow their Lord !

Q: What is the best time to get saved?

A: The Bible says "now is the accepted time ,behold NOW is the day of salvation " not tomorrow ,it might be too late cause we don't have a promise of tomorrow!

Q: Can I just wait till I am old , and then accept Jesus as my savior?

A: Do you have a Guarantee that you will grow old and who gave it to you ?

Q: How can I tell if I am ready to accept Jesus into my heart?

A: when you are ready to give up sin and receive NEW LIFE !

Q: I feel like I am searching for something or like I am missing something, could it be the Lord letting me know that I need him?

A: YES ,these thoughts are promoted by the Holy Spirit that draws people to Christ by showing them that they are not complete in their lives .

Q: Do I have to go to church every time the door is open to maintain my salvation?

A: Again salvation is Eternal not probation ,,church is for us to worship with other believers and be feed the Word of God so we can grow and be nourished up in the Faith !

Q: Do I have to go to church to be saved or can I get saved here? right now?

A: You can be saved anywhere that you bow you head and say YES to JESUS CHRIST !

Q: Is it hard to get saved?

A: Only if you want to continue in your sins and are not willing to give them up by allowing Christ to come into your heart.

Q: Will God ever leave me once I have accepted him?

A: "HE hath said ,I will never leave thee nor forsake thee " God is al knowing and wouldn't bother to save you if HE was going to walk out on you .remember that HE sent HIS ONLY SON to die for you personally !

Q: Why did Jesus come to earth, was there a purpose for his trip?

A: YES ,HE came to seek and to save that which was LOST and that is the condition of mankind LOST . He came to die for us and to be raised the third day to secure our redemption .

Q: How much does it cost to get saved? is this what tithes are?

A: It cost the blood of the savior not our works or our money ,God isn't bankrupt .

Q: I have already messed up my life, would God want me now?

A: YES , and when you realize that you have messed up that's when HE wants to take over and show you HIS power and HIS LOVE

Q: Will Jesus ever visit earth again?

A: YES HE said if I go away I WILL come again and receive you unto myself that where I am you may be also !

Q: Will I have to die to go to heaven?

A: Only if HE doesn't return first in the air !but what an assurance we have as believers !THE Rapture is what it is commonly known

Q: What is a preacher's purpose, to tell people that they are worthless?

A: NO ,to tell man that he is lost without Christ and tell of HIS great love for us !

Q: I keep hearing about "the rapture" what is that?

A: It is the return of Christ in the air to receive the church and to take them to heaven !

Q: when is the rapture?

A: NO man knows the hour Christ said but we must be ready to go for in such a hour that we think not ,HE will come !

Q: My son/daughter was born brain damaged, will they die and go to hell because they can't understand the meaning of salvation?

A: NO they will not ,they are not able to see their fallen state of sin and God is merciful !

Q: what is faith?

A: The substance of things not seen ! to believe with all and to trust in !

Q: If Jesus comes back in the rapture, can I get saved when he gets here?

A: NO, it will be to late HE will come in a moment in the twinkling of an eye ...that's FAST !! get saved to day and you wont have top worry about friend !

Q: OK , I am ready to accept Jesus into my heart and be saved, can you walk me through what I need to do?

A: first tell GOD in a prayer such as ...God ,I know I am a sinner and that you sent Your SON to die for my sins , and I believe that and I want you to save me and come into my heart at this moment and I accept that you all ready have as I pray this prayer ! in Jesus name I pray...AMEN ! that's it .HE said if thou shalt confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that God raised Christ from the dead ...thou shalt be saved ! not maybe so or hope so but SHALL be SAVED !
