Johnson
John Wesley Johnson brought his family from Polk
County, Tennessee after the end of the war and just prior to the
taking of the 1870 Jackson County, Tn census. The family settled
in what later became known as Clay County, Tn. They lived in a
little log cabin that is located in the Oak Grove Community, just
off Hwy 52E, in Clay County. A partical genealogy of the Johnson
