Burned
Broken
promises
Hurtful lies
She takes revenge
And laughs at their cries
The cries are deafening
The laughing is loud
She finally said no
And she is pround
Proud of what she accomplished
This pride she has earned
Sick of being pushed aside
And sick of being burned
Her burns don't heal
They do leave a scar
No matter where she goes
It doesn't matter how far
Her burns grow to a flame
But she is burnt no more
She left the room that gave her pain
She closed and locked the door
She no longer feels pain
She learned to block it out
She'll no longer break down and cry
You'll never see her pout
For she's been burned so many times
Her it will no longer phase
She vows to remain painless
For the rest of all my days
