Welcome to the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ.  We are located in Greenback, Tennessee, just minutes from the Great Smokey Mountain National Park - "The most visited national park in the country."  Greenback is the exception.  Most likely you would never find us without the help of Mapquest.  In the tradition of the rural south a visitor is always treated special.  The dogs come out from under the porch to greet you with wagging tails and barks of excitement.  Grandpa stops his whittling and looks up to see what the commotion is all about.  And, everyone else looks out the windows or comes running to investigate the event.  Most of the time it's just someone needing directions.   If you're lost and in a hurry, just hit the Back button or go to Yahoo or another search engine. Let's Get Acquainted

First of all, we don't usually dress like this. We're not one of those churches that seems to be concerned more with clothes than souls.  We dressed up on this occasion to recognize our "Old Timers" and pioneers in the faith.

We are a Bible believing assembly founded on the principles taught and exemplified by The Lord Jesus Christ.  His life and teachings serve to illustrate some of his greatest contributions to the world.  No one can truly be educated and not know about Jesus.  There have been many great men like Alexander the Great and Napoleon, who were great conquerors.  There have been the great philosophers like Aristotle and Plato. And many other great men and women who have left their mark in this world, but there has never been a man like Jesus.  In the span of history, there are those events that have happened before Christ (B.C.).  And there are those events that have happened since Christ is come (A.D.)  We just want the world to know more about Jesus.  We strive to be like him so getting to know Jesus is getting to know us.
