Ed Wilson

Ed wilson was born August 8,1937 he was an Army and Air Force veteran, having served as a flight engineer. Ed was a former employee of the savanah police department, where he was named rookie of the year in 1964, and policeman of the year in 1970. He was a former president of the fraternal order of police in Savannah. He was employed by the Washington County Sheriff's Department from 1976-1985, where he served as captian. He retired from the 1st judicial District attorney general's office in 1999, where he served as a chief criminal investigator. He was a member of the Pentecoastol Holiness Church of Erwin. Many of the things I have recieved on the history of Embreeville are things that Ed Wilson had saved and given to people and I am very gratefull.
