SSW returns to the Civic Auditorium on 8/7 with Model City Memories-A Celebration of Pro Wrestling in Kingsport.
Buddy Landel has signed to return to SSW!He will be in the corner of the returning Beau James.This will be Beau James' first match since the car accident took him out of the ring in March of this year.
Championship Wrestling(formerly under the banner of SSW)has aligned itself with NWA Blueridge and now all Championship Wrestling matches will be sanctioned by the NWA.The title picture is still up in the air as Championship Wrestling is still recognizing the Southern States Heavy Weight title though they are no longer affiliated with SSW.
Big Bossman,Sherri Martel,Larry Zbysko,Ricky Morton and Tony Atlas are names expected to appear at the IRW Funfest event.This is the first IRW event since April.No further info is available for the event.
