This picture is a picture of the man who changed my life forever, and changed the road I was going down. Lets start from the beginning.... On June 17, 1985 a boy was born destined for something great, even though he didnt' know it, but even then life was a challenge. This boy was born with the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck, making it impossible for him to breathe, and scaring his parents, but God said NO...this boy is gonna be fine, and he was ok, and a little while later, he went home with his parents. The boy was the 6th child, the mother had given birth to, and the final one. He grew up as the baby of the family, and got away with alot. His mom made him and the rest of his family go to church for the first 7 years of his life, but eventually the family stopped going to church. The boy was happy at the time, but later on he spent times alone in confusion, wondering why he was here, is there a God?? The boy was in 8th grade when one day, a friend of his youngest older brother invited his brother to a revival at church. At this revival, God radically changed his brother's life. This sparked something that was way bigger than anyone knew that night. The family started going to church again, and soon the young boy, start going to the youth group, and one night there was a silent communion service. During this service, the youth minister explained that the juice represented the blood Christ spilled on the cross, when he was crucified on the cross, and the bread represented Christ's body which was broken on the cross so that we could have eternal life with God. He also explained that only those who knew Jesus, should partake in it, this boy didn't know Jesus, so he didn't. His friend wondered why...and asked him. The boy simply said "I just didn't..." and brushed him off. Later on that night, the youth minister told the young boy's brother not to let him leave gym time without talking to him. So the boy talked to him. The youth minister asked him if he knew Jesus, and if he knew where he was gonna be going if he was to die tonight. The boy said, "No..and said right now hell, from what you've told me." The youth minister asked, do you wanna know. The boy said, "Yes!!" The boy and the youth minister prayed and the boy asked Jesus to come into his life, and that boy was changed forever that night. The boy started doing stuff with the youth, and kept growing in his relationship with Christ. No longer did he have to wonder why he was on earth, or if there was a God. He started getting to know God personally, and he realized the purpose he was on earth was to know God, and to tell others. Christ changed this boy's life, and he can change yours too.
