Kiwanis Park, east of parking lot.

  • Botanical Name: Celtis occidentalis
  • Moist Conditions/Sun/Attracts Wildlife
  • Height & Spread: 12m x 8m
  • Form: high headed, upright oval
  • Leaf: alternate, long, pointed leaves with an uneven base
  • Bark: greyish-brown; rough; warty and hard
  • Fruit: fleshy, dark purple berry
  • Use: shade trees; fruit attracts birds
