Kiwanis Park, east of parking lot.

  • Botanical Name: Cornus sericea
  • Medium Moisture/Sun-Partial Shade/Attracts Wildlife
  • Height & Spread: 3m x 3m
  • Form: globe shaped
  • Leaf: opposite; ovate; red fall colour
  • Bark: red branches are especially attractive in winter
  • Flower: white clusters
  • Fruit: white berries
  • Use: accent or feature shrubs in groups or mass plantings;
    stems provide good winter colour; fruit attracts birds
