- Botanical Name: Cotoneaster lucidus
- Drought Resistant/Sun/Attracts Wildlife
- Height & Spread: 2m x 2m
- Form: upright spreading
- Leaf: alternate; small; dark green; shiny above and
wooly beneath; orange-red fall colour
- Flower: small inconspicuous
- Fruit: red berry turns dark blue as matures
- Problems: oyster scale; pear slugs; fireblight
- Use: excellent hedge plant; fruit is eaten by birds
