Location: (2004)
Rotary Park, east of pond.

  • Botanical Name: Pinus mugo
  • Drought Tolerant/Sun/Attracts Wildlife
  • Height & Spread: 60cm-6m x 60cm-6m
  • Form: low mound (dwarf) or upright spreading
  • Leaf: bright green needles in bundles of two about 5cm long
  • Fruit: cones
  • Use: dwarf types are good for foundation plantings, rock gardens or shrub border;
    good winter shelter for birds
