News From November 28th 2004:

I'd like to take this oppertunity on behalf of the Pirate Republic, the U.B.S. INDYCENT, and the U.S.S. DEFIANT to thank ALL who attended this years Starbase Indy Room Parties. We raised $150.00 apiece for each of our charities, The Christopher Reeves Paralysis Foundation and The Grissom Air Museum, As well as made new friends and saw several old ones. The Return of StarBase Indy was a HUGE success and A VERY special Thanks go out to the following:

To Kim Huff, for helping get a great room and being Co-Chair for the Con., To Rusty Harrell for also Co-Chairing the Con. And to ALL the staff who worked so hard to make this weekend a success. But most of all,to the FANS, who came out and supported both the Con and us, Without you we couldn't have had the success we have had over the years! Once again THANK YOU ! and we'll see you all at InConjunction in July.

News From July 4th 2004:

The USS Defiant along with The Pirate Republic presented Jason Carter $ 300.00 for an Education Fund for Richard Biggs' Children, RJ & Hunter Biggs.
The monies were raised by selling and auctioning blueprints of the Franklin Class Cruiser (A Whitestar Variant and Named for Richard Biggs' Charater on Babylon 5). The blueprints were provided by the Pirate Republic. The New USS Defiant NCC 1630-X is also a Franklin Class Cruiser.
