Seren appears as a typical Deltan male, slim, dexterous and bald. He moves with a simple grace, making each movement appear languid and relaxed, even in emergencies. His speaking voice has a musical lilt to it, sometimes described as a voice heard through a waterfall. Seren's family were research scientists, and considered to be overzealous in their work. Seren grew up always travelling, bouncing from research colony to research vessel, causing his upbringing to be outside the norm for Deltans. Upon reaching the Age of Maturity and Awareness, he chose to join Starfleet, for it offered the best opportunities for exploration and discovery. He graduated with high marks, including a commendation for his superlative piloting skills, and hopes to one day get an assignment to an Explorer vessel.
Personality Profile:
Seren is a quiet soul, who truly loves the serenity of space travel. He has chosen to forego his race's love of sexuality/sensuality, and uses a bio-suppressant to counter his body's hormone and pheromone production. He has taken to the study of KahrTahKoo, a Deltan martial art similar to Earth's Tai Chi and Yoga, a form which stresses Bio Control, Meditation, and Nervous System Manipulation. He is known for being totally focused when presented with a new task, often using his bio control to circumvent his needs for food and sleep. Off duty, he is known for his cooking, and his playing of the Hammered Dulcimer. He is neat to fault, and constantly tries to learn as much protocol and manners as possible.
