Flavius Josephus Against Apion 1,8

For we have not an innumerable multitude of books among us, disagreeing from and contradicting one another, [as the Greeks have,] but only twenty-two books, (8) which contain the records of all the past times; which are justly believed to be divine; and of them five belong to Moses, which contain his laws and the traditions of the origin of mankind till his death. This interval of time was little short of three thousand years; but as to the time from the death of Moses till the reign of Artaxerxes king of Persia, who reigned after Xerxes, the prophets, who were after Moses, wrote down what was done in their times in thirteen books.

The remaining four books contain hymns to God, and precepts for the conduct of human life. It is true, our history hath been written since Artaxerxes very particularly, but hath not been esteemed of the like authority with the former by our forefathers, because there hath not been an exact succession of prophets since that time; and how firmly we have given credit to these books of our own nation is evident by what we do; for during so many ages as have already passed, no one has been so bold as either to add any thing to them, to take any thing from them, or to make any change in them; but it is become natural to all Jews immediately, and from their very birth, to esteem these books to contain Divine doctrines, and to persist in them, and, if occasion be willingly to die for them.

Flavius Josephus had three written sources of documentation: The Old Hebrew Sacred Scripture, the Annuals of his nations, and the gentile historians, beside his own experience as priest and as governor. Certainly, he recognized some errors in Herodotus and Manetho; But being a priest, and raising from child that nobody has altered the Scriptures he never suspected of the changes made by the evil scribes.

Antiquities of the Jews 8,3,1 Solomon began to build the temple in the fourth year of his reign, on the second month, which the Macedonians call Artemisius, and the Hebrews Jur, five hundred and ninety-two years after the Exodus out of Egypt;

Antiquities of the Jews 20,10,1, Now the number of years during the rule of these thirteen[priest], from the day when our fathers departed out of Egypt, under Moses their leader, until the building of that temple which king Solomon erected at Jerusalem, were six hundred and twelve.

Against Apion 2,2. While still Solomon himself built that temple six hundred and twelve years after the Jews came out of Egypt.

Jeremiah 8: 8 How do ye say, We are wise, for we have the law of the LORD? When actually the lying pen of the scribes has changed it into lie

9: The wise men are ashamed, they are dismayed and trapped. Since they have rejected the Word of the LORD; and what wisdom is in them?

Has the Hebraic Bible some of these changes mentioned by God Himself?

THE EVIL SCRIBES MADE GOD A LIAR

Most of us know that Moses was the first nationalist in defense of the sons of Israel. Surely, he was well informed of the his roots, about Jacob, Isaac and Jacob. Joshua told us that he went further when he mentioned Terah and Nachor:

Joshua 24:1 And Joshua gathered all the tribes of Israel to Shechem, and called for the elders of Israel, and for their heads, and for their judges, and for their officers; and they presented themselves before God.
2 And Joshua said unto all the people, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Your fathers dwelt on the other side of the flood in old time, even Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other gods.
3 And I took your father Abraham from the other side of the flood, and led him throughout all the land of Canaan, and multiplied his seed, and gave him Isaac.
4 And I gave unto Isaac Jacob and Esau: and I gave unto Esau mount Seir, to possess it; but Jacob and his children went down into Egypt.

Moses could not find the name of God in the history of the fathers of Israel, for that reason he asked to God Himself:

13: And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?

Clearly enough: the name of God was not known.

The Holy answer says why they didn't know the name of God:

Exodus 6:1 Then the LORD said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land.
2: And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the : 3: And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name I was not known to them.

God didn't mention this name to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob !

In the following cites, the evil scribes make God a deceiver:

ABRAHAM
Genesis 15:7: And he said unto him, I am the that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.
8: And he said, GOD, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?
ISAAC
Genesis 26: 25: And he builded an altar there, and called upon the name of the and pitched his tent there: and there Isaac's servants digged a well.
 28: And they said, We saw certainly that the was with thee: and we said, Let there be now an oath betwixt us, even betwixt us and thee, and let us make a covenant with thee;
29: That thou wilt do us no hurt, as we have not touched thee, and as we have done unto thee nothing but good, and have sent thee away in peace: thou art now the blessed of the .
JACOB
Genesis 28:13: And, behold, the stood above it, and said, I am the God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;

THE EVIL SCRIBES CHANGED THE BOOK OF LAW

As soon as the king Josiah was twelve years old, he started cleaning Judah and Jerusalem:

2 Chronicles 34:3 For in the eighth year of his reign, while he was yet young, he began to seek after the God of David his father: and in the twelfth year he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem from the high places, and the groves, and the carved images, and the molten images.

He did this by the knowledge of the law; but, however, fourteen years later he knew that the book of law that he learnt was altered:

8: Now in the eighteenth year of his reign, when he had purged the land, and the house, he sent Shaphan the son of Azaliah, and Maaseiah the governor of the city, and Joah the son of Joahaz the recorder, to repair the house of the his God.
14: And when they brought out the money that was brought into the house of the , Hilkiah the priest found a book of the law of the given by Moses.
15: And Hilkiah answered and said to Shaphan the scribe, I have found the book of the law in the house of the . And Hilkiah delivered the book to Shaphan.
16: And Shaphan carried the book to the king, and brought the king word back again, saying, All that was committed to thy servants, they do it.
18: Then Shaphan the scribe told the king, saying, Hilkiah the priest hath given me a book. And Shaphan read it before the king.
19: And it came to pass, when the king had heard the words of the law, that he rent his clothes.

Josiah tore his clothes because this law was quite different to the official one he knew !

The kings of the kingdom of Israel changed the system of adoration given by God, to a satanic system of adoration:

1 Kings 12:28 Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two calves of gold, and said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem: behold thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
29: And he set the one in Bethel, and the other put he in Dan.
30: And this thing became a sin: for the people went to worship before the one, even unto Dan.
31: And he made an house of high places, and made priests of the lowest of the people, which were not of the sons of Levi.
32: And Jeroboam ordained a feast in the eighth month, on the fifteenth day of the month, like unto the feast that is in Judah, and he offered upon the altar. So did he in Bethel, sacrificing unto the calves that he had made: and he placed in Bethel the priests of the high places which he had made.
33: So he offered upon the altar which he had made in Bethel the fifteenth day of the eighth month, even in the month which he had devised of his own heart; and ordained a feast unto the children of Israel: and he offered upon the altar, and burnt incense.

Even though, Jehu followed this satanic system of adoration:

2 Kings 10:30 And the said unto Jehu, Because thou hast done well in executing that which is right in mine eyes, and hast done unto the house of Ahab according to all that was in mine heart, thy children of the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel.
2 Kings 10:31 But Jehu took no heed to walk in the law of the God of Israel with all his heart: for he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam, which made Israel to sin.

THE EVIL SCRIBES CHANGED THE GENEALOGY OF SEM

 The Septuagint mentions Cainan as a son of Arphaxad:

The New Septuagint: Genesis 11:10.- And these are the generations of Sem: and Sem was a hundred years old when he begot Arphaxad, the second year after the flood. 11 And Sem lived after he had begotten Arphaxad1, five hundred years, and begot sons and daughters, and died. 12 And Arphaxad lived a hundred and thirty five years, and begot Cainan2. 13 And Arphaxad lived after he had begotten Cainan , four hundred years and begot sons and daughters, and died. And Cainan lived a hundred and thirty years and begot Sala3; and Cainan lived lived after he had begotten Sala, three hundred and thirty years, and begot sons and daughters and died. 14 And Sala lived and hundred and thirty years, and begot Heber4. 15 And Sala lived after he had begotten Heber, three hundred and thirty years, and begot sons and daughters, and died. 16 And Heber lived an hundred and thirty four year, and begot Phaleg5. 17 And Heber lived after he had begotten Phaleg two hundred and seventy years, and begot sons and daughters, and died. 18 And Phaleg lived a hundred and thirty years, and begot Ragau6. 19 And Peleg lived after he had begotten Ragau, two hundred and nine year, and begot sons and daughters, and died. 20 And Ragau lived a hundred thirty two years, and begot Seruch7. 21 And Ragau lived after he had begotten Serug, two hundred and seven years, and begot sons and daughters, and died. 22 And Serug lived a hundred and thirty years, and begot Nachor8. 23 And Seruch lived after he had begotten Nachor, two hundred years, and begot sons and daughters, and died. 24 And Nachor lived a hundred and seventy nine years, and begot Tharrha9. 25 And Nachor lived after he had begotten Tharrha, and hundred and twenty five years, and begot sons and daughters, and he died. And Tharrha lived seventy years and, and begot Abram10, and Nachor, and Arrhan.

Berosus indirectly mentions Cainan when he says:

Antiquities of the Jews, 1,7, 2. Berosus mentions our father Abram without naming him, when he says thus: "In the tenth generation AFTER the Flood, there was among the Chaldeans a man righteous and great, and skillful in the celestial science."

Because Sem belonged to the generation before the flood, he can not be counted as after the flood; which means that Berosus was referring to some one that the evil scribe deleted. The Evangelist Luke also mentioned Cainan by name, and Abraham the tenth after the flood:

Luke 3:34.- Which was the son of Jacob, which was the son of Isaac, which was the son of Abraham1, which was the son of Thara2, which was the son of Nachor3,
35: Which was the son of Saruch4, which was the son of Ragau5, which was the son of Phalec6, which was the son of Heber7, which was the son of Sala8,
36: Which was the son of Cainan9, which was the son of Arphaxad10, which was the son of Sem, which was the son of Noe, which was the son of Lamech,
37: Which was the son of Mathusala, which was the son of Enoch, which was the son of Jared, which was the son of Maleleel, which was the son of Cainan,
38: Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.

Besides changing the genealogy, the evil scribes clustered more than ten generation together:!

The New Hebraic Bible: Genesis 11:10 These are the generations of Shem: Shem was an hundred years old, and begat Arphaxad two years after the flood: 11: And Shem lived after he begat Arphaxad five hundred years, and begat sons and daughters. 12: And Arphaxad lived five and thirty years, and begat Salah: 13: And Arphaxad lived after he begat Salah four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters. 14: And Salah lived thirty years, and begat Eber: 15: And Salah lived after he begat Eber four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters. 16: And Eber lived four and thirty years, and begat Peleg: 17: And Eber lived after he begat Peleg four hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters. 18: And Peleg lived thirty years, and begat Reu: 19: And Peleg lived after he begat Reu two hundred and nine years, and begat sons and daughters. 20: And Reu lived two and thirty years, and begat Serug: 21: And Reu lived after he begat Serug two hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters. 22: And Serug lived thirty years, and begat Nahor: 23: And Serug lived after he begat Nahor two hundred years, and begat sons and daughters. 24: And Nahor lived nine and twenty years, and begat Terah: 25: And Nahor lived after he begat Terah an hundred and nineteen years, and begat sons and daughters. 26: And Terah lived seventy years, and begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran. 27: Now these are the generations of Terah: Terah begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran; and Haran begat Lot. 28: And Haran died before his father Terah in the land of his nativity, in Ur of the Chaldees. 29: And Abram and Nahor took them wives: the name of Abram's wife was Sarai; and the name of Nahor's wife, Milcah, the daughter of Haran, the father of Milcah, and the father of Iscah. 30: But Sarai was barren; she had no child. 31: And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran his son's son, and Sarai his daughter in law, his son Abram's wife; and they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there. 32: And the days of Terah were two hundred and five years: and Terah died in Haran.

So, according to the Hebraic Bible, Arphaxad lived until his eleven generation, since Isaac was born at the year 392 and Arphaxad died the year 440. Sem saw his generation until Jacob. The Septuagint says that Sem died before Phaleg was born, Arphaxad lived until his fourth generation:

According to the Christian Writer Luke, Abraham was born when Tareh was 130 years old, at 1.232 after the flood:

Acts 7:4. Then came he out of the land of the Chaldaeans, and dwelt in Charran: and from thence, when his father was dead, he removed him into this land, wherein ye now dwell.

 Which agrees with the blessing or cursing promised by God:

2 Kings 10:30 And the said unto Jehu, Because thou hast done well in executing that which is right in mine eyes, and hast done unto the house of Ahab according to all that was in mine heart, thy children of the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel.
Exodus 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

The archaeological findings confirm that between the flood and Abraham passed at least 1.000 years:
