BIOGRAPHY: This biography was written by me so please dont take it without approval. If you decide to take it, you MUST put a link to ~TRR~ somewhere on your page. The Rock's Sucess has a long background. Starting as a child when his grandpa (Peter Maivia) was one of the best wrestlers from his background and from his time. From this, Dwayne's father, Rocky Johnson, developed his career in wrestling as well. Because of his family's history, Dwayne has grown up with the business surrounding him. Before he started his career in wrestling, Rock (or Dwayne) was a football star for his hometeam, the Miami Hurricanes. It was here that he met his soon-to-be wife, Dani. From Dani, he found the encouragement to finally start a career in wrestling. He first started training for the WWF. He finally got his big break after a lot of hard work. But little did he know the people weren't going to like him. He first wrestled under the name, 'Rocky Maivia' (Rocky for his dad, Maivia for his grandfather). He started out as a babyface, or good guy, with the Nation of Domination. His role as a good guy didn't really work out, as the crowd started chanting 'Rocky Sucks' whenever he wrestled. He soon changed his name while trash talking to Stone Cold. He said, "...Compliments of The Rock..." which is the birth of the name he currently uses. To go with the new name, he changed his wardrobe and appearance. He turned heel, or a bad guy, and the crowd seemed to like it. Thats when his career sky-rocketed and he became known as the People's champion. And as of today, he is still supported by the people (Also known as the millions (and millions) of the Rock's fans).
