About PCPPort Charles People was founded in 1999. It started out as a page dedicated to the half hour long soap Port Charles. I had been a hard to the core One Life To Live fan but the more I watched of Port Charles, the more I began to watch General Hospital. And, being only one person, I decided I couldn't handle watching three soaps, so, with much regret, I let go of One Life To Live and took up watching General Hospital. I loved it so much! But an hour and a half of the residents of Port Charles wasn't enough. I wanted to watch them 24/7 and, if given the chance, probably would. It was then that I extended the page to cover General Hospital as well as Port Charles. I loved Courtney and Frank on PC and the odd pairing of Chris and Julie that just happened to work. And over on GH I couldn't help but fall in love with the pairing of Sonny and Carly. Recently some new characters have been added and brought forth to the front burner. The Alison/Jamal pairing on PC is the kind people speak of when they say "young love." The storyline that made Kevin a father and Rachel Livvie's aunt was interesting. The teens on PC aren't the only ones getting around. Over on GH there's pairs all over the place. Lucky and Liz are in and out of love, while sparks are flying where Gia and Nikolas are concerned. But some people are questioning the recent storylines on PC. First vampires, now angels, what's next?, they say. Although they are a little off from the norm, I like them and I think they add a new flavor to the genre. I only wish they didn't have to kill off Caleb... My current pairing likings...Let's start with PC. I am truly liking the Casey/Ricky pairing. Alison and Rafe may be going over the line a bit. Come on! The guys an angel! Many sparks are flying on GH. I can't help falling for the pairing of Sonny and Alexis, even though I was once a die hard Carly/Sonny fan. Skye and Jax have some odd appeal. And Carly and Zander oddly seem to fit together. Anyway, e-mail me your comments and I may just put them right here. |
