Before starring as Monica in Touched By an Angel, Roma Downey was best known to television audiences for her portrayal of Jacqueline Kennedy in the mini-series A Woman Named Jackie.
She was born and raised in Derry City, Northern Ireland, and earned a bachelor's degree at Brighton Art College in England. She then attended the London Drama Studio, where she starred in productions of many classics, including the plays of Shakespeare, Shaw, and Chekhov.
Downey toured the United States with Dublin's famous Abbey Players in a production of The Playboy of the Western World and was nominated for the Helen Hayes Best Actress Award in 1991. Her additional stage credits include the Broadway production of The Circle opposite Rex Harrison, and Off Broadway productions of Love's Labour's Lost, Tamara, and Arms and the Man.
Downey's additional television credits include starring roles in the films A Child Is Missing and Borrowed Hearts: A Holiday Romance, both on CBS, and Getting Up and Going Home.
Among her feature film credits are The Last Word and Devlin.
Downey has a daughter. Her birthday is May 6"
Della Reese

Della Reese has been awarded the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Television Drama Series in each of the past three years for her role as Tess, the tough but loving supervising angel in Touched By an Angel.
Reese began singing in church in her native Detroit when she was six years old. As a teenager, she toured with gospel great Mahalia Jackson. At the age of 18, she formed the Meditation Singers, becoming the first performer to take gospel music to the casinos of Las Vegas.
Reese expanded her musical repertoire as a vocalist with the Erskine Hawkins Orchestra and began making her own records. Don't You Know and And That Reminds Me were two of her biggest hits in the 1950s.
She appeared on television as a guest on many variety shows, logging more than 20 appearances in one year on The Ed Sullivan Show on CBS. She was nominated for a Grammy Award as Best Female Soloist in Gospel Music (1987).
Reese hosted a television talk show (1969-70), and has appeared in numerous television series, including Sanford and Son, The A-Team, Crazy Like a Fox, and Picket Fences. She starred in Charlie & Co. and The Royal Family, both on CBS.
Reese recently recorded an album based on her 27-city tour with her revue, Some of My Best Friends Are the Blues.
She has also published her autobiography, Angels Along the Way.
Reese lives with her husband, producer Franklin Thomas Lett. Her birthday is July 6.

Andrew
John Dye made his feature film debut in Makin the Grade. His subsequent film credits include Perfect Weapon, The Best of the Best, Mother, Mother, Big Man on Campus, Campus Man, and Modern Girls.
Dye's television credits include regular roles in Hotel Malibu, Tour of Duty, and Jack's Place. He also appeared in the mini-series The Billionaire Boys Club.
Dye was born in Amory, Mississippi. His birthday is January 31."
