"The Galaxy Being" (1963)
In this very first episode of the highly inventive series broadcast September 16, 1963, Cliff Robertson stars as the owner of a radio station whose experiments accidentally transmit a harmless alien to Earth. The being's presence triggers such a wave of fear and violence that he chooses to sacrifice his life to maintain peace on Earth.
