Greg Proops Bio!!

This is the Greg Proops bio. It sucks. I don't mean that in a bad way, of course, I mean that there is a much better one on his official fan site. It is written by Greg himself. I didn't say this about anyone else, because, well, it doesn't apply to them. Greg has done it all. He's written books, appeared in many MANY shows, movies, you name it, he's in it. I find it amazing that he isn't as well known as he should be. Whose Line is becoming popular by the minute, and I hope Greg gets the recognition he deserves.

Best known for his incessant television appearances on the British (and now American) version of Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Greg Proops' diverse career also includes numerous television and film roles.

A man of many faces

He's contributed voices to Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas as well as George Lucas' Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. His television work includes 3rd Rock From The Sun, Men Behaving Badly, Family Matters, and Mike Hammer. Proops has long been a fixture on the comedy festival circuit. His appearances have included Montreal's Just for Laughs Festival, the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, the Melbourne Comedy Festival, Ireland's Murphy Cat Laughs Festival, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, where he has sold out shows for five years running.

Wild Side!

A cerebral comedy star with international appeal, he hosted the quiz show Space Cadets for England's Channel 4 as well as Hey, Hey, It's Saturday, Australia's longest running variety show. When asked for a suitable ending to his bio, Mr. Proops replied, "I'm married to a woman named Jennifer. I don't deserve her."
