Chapter 2
Somewhere in Port Charles
3 Days Later
Carly sat in a cold dark room. Her face was cut and bruised from his latest sex fest with her. Her hands were still bound behind her back with handcuffs and her ribs ached from being thrown against the walls and beaten by him. She slowly made her way to one of the six cots he had in the huge room, dreading his return with each aching step. Tears silently fell as she remembered that screaming for Jax or anyone for that matter was pointless. The door to the dark room opened and he entered gaping at her almost bare body. Terror once again over came her and she began a plea to a person she once considered a friend.
“Please, let me go, please! I’ll do anything if you will let me go!” Carly screamed at him. He shook his head no and pulled out the black studded leather belt from behind his back.
“I don’t think so Carly.” He said smiling. Carly cringed at him using the name that she used to gladly smile at when he said it before now. She mustered all the strength left in her and tried kicking him as he came after her. He blocked her kicking legs and threw her against the ground. Her screams of the belt beating against her bare legs were unheard by others and her sobs and tears of shame after he had his way with her were quickly silenced as he covered her mouth with a white cloth once more. After he was sure she was out, he undid her handcuffs only to chain her to the awaiting cot with her hands shackled in the chains he had set up against the wall. He laid her down on the bed and took out a needle with a sedative and injected it into her body.
“Goodnight Carly, sleep well.” He said, kissing her mouth once more, he left her on the bed covering her with a blanket, for good measure he kissed her once more and then left.
3 Days Later
Sarah Webber’s Apartment
He watched her from the black van silently memorizing her he knew her schedule. 6 AM meet Lucky Spencer for her morning jog. 7 AM she took a shower, he had once taken a pair of silk panties from her drawer as she showered a few moths ago while she was in the shower. 9 AM leave for the hospital. 12PM-1PM lunch she ate a bacon cheeseburger, fries and a cherry coke everyday with Lucky and Elizabeth at Kelly’s. 1-6 PM She went back to work. 6-8 PM went out with her current lover, Dillon Quartermane to a movie or dinner. He hated her for rejecting him when he asked her out, more importantly he hated the Quartermane family. 8-10PM she went over paper work. 11PM she went to bed in her pink silk tank top and shorts under ruby red satin sheets. He smiled as he took more photos of her as she changed her clothes. Tomorrow she would be his, just like Carly.
Chapter 3
The Next Evening 6:05PM
Sarah Webber’s Apartment.
Sarah sighed as she took off her shoes. She pressed her answering machine, no messages. She removed her tan cotton shirt and put on a pink halter-top, she began to look at some paper work when she heard a knock on her door. She sighed and looked in the peephole, smiling she opened the door.
“Hey, haven’t seen you in awhile.” Sarah said to him.
“I’ve been pretty busy, listen can I come in and talk for a bit?” He asked. Sarah smiled at him and turned and went into the kitchen.
“Do you want anything? A beer? A coke?’ Sarah called from the kitchen.
“No thanks.” He replied he unplugged her phone. He was startled by her when she came out of the kitchen behind him as he silently locked the door.
“Hey you ok? You must be pretty upset over Carly.” Sarah said to him. He nodded.
“It is so sad, she was finally going to be happy. Everyone I know is looking for her including Dillon.” Sarah said. He nodded at her comment.
“I need to use the restroom, wait here and I’ll be right back.” Sarah said patting his arm. She entered her bathroom, she sighed. She didn’t even know why she was with him in her apartment. The lights went out in the bathroom.
“I hate this fuse box in this apartment.” Sarah said. She stopped when she felt strong chills go down her spine. She fumbled for the door in the dark, but was grabbed from behind. She struggled against the person who held the white cloth against her face, she looked at him a person she never trusted and a person whom she thought would never hurt anyone, her world went black as she struggled more with him slamming her against the door knocking her head against it.
PCPD
Taggert sat at his desk going over Carly’s case file. Officer O’ Hara entered carrying a manila envelope.
“This was outside on the file for Carly Spencer.” Officer O’ Hara said.
Taggert sighed and opened the envelope. He scanned each of the 12 photos in his hand. After digesting the photos in his mind, they fluttered to the floor. They were of her, of Carly.
“Sir are you alright?” Officer O’ Hara asked.
“Get me copies of each of these, check for prints. Get Luke and Bobbie Spencer down here.” Taggert replied. O’ Hara nodded and left the room with the pictures.
Sarah’s Apartment
1 Hour Later
Dillon knocked on her door. No answer. He took out his spare key to the apartment and entered. He switched on the lights.
“Sarah?” He called out. No one answered. A sick sensation came over him as he went to the bathroom, he saw blood on the back of the door and her items were thrown around as if there had been a struggle.
PCPD
Bobbie looked at the pictures of Carly. She knew that no matter what she ever saw in the ER, it could never compare to how gruesome Carly looked in the pictures before her eyes. Luke put his hand on his sisters shoulder as he gazed at his nieces’ body, the bastard who did it wouldn’t live another day after he found him, Luke said to himself. Jax looked at her, Carly. His tears fell freely as he looked at her beaten bloody body. Sonny gazed at the pictures his body numb, he still loved her, he had told her many times, but she told him every time that her heart belonged to Jax, whoever did this to her would pay he vowed.
Sarah’s Apartment
Taggert talked to a clearly upset and shaken Dillon Quartermane.
“Ok so tell me once more what happened when you got here.” Taggert said.
“I got here, we were supposed to go to Lucky’s for dinner, Lucky canceled he had to work, so I came here to tell her, I tried calling but her phone was disconnected. I knocked she didn’t answer, so I came in with my spare key. I looked for her and that is when I found the blood in the bathroom.” Dillon said. He put his head in his hands and tried to fight back the sickening feeling in his stomach and tried to stop the tears from falling. Taggert nodded and examined the crime scene, nothing was out of place and the neighbors said that they heard and saw no one enter or leave. So now what?
Lucky’s Apartment
Lucky tossed and turned in his sleep. He could see a woman struggling, screaming in pain. He saw the cots and chains on the wall, the room was dark. He could see the woman beating a mans’ chest as his hands knocked viciously against her body making unbearable cracking noises. He could see a white cotton shirt covered in blood with the woman’s blood. He couldn’t see who was attacking her. He was now in the room with the woman after the man left. He slowly approached the cot, the woman on the cot slowly opened her battered face and her brown expressive eyes stared back at Lucky.
“Help, me.” Carly whispered slowly and barely audible.
Lucky awoke screaming and sweat was pouring down his face, Carly’s face and her eyes were embedded in his head. He got up and splashed some cold water on his face, he then called Kevin Collins.
“Kevin, this is Lucky Spencer, yeah can I see you tomorrow, this is really important. Yeah that’s fine, thanks. Bye.” Lucky hung up the phone, ran his hands through his hair trying to erase Carly’s eyes. He started to get ready for his shift at club 101, he had to be there by 8PM and it was already 7PM. He turned on the TV to the 8 o’clock news.
“In other late breaking news the PCPD are investigating the disappearance of Dr. Sarah Webber from her apartment about 2 hours ago. Ms. Webber is about 5’ 7” with ash blonde hair, she has hazel brown eyes and was last seen by her sister after work this evening. Police are unable at this time to determine of Ms. Webber’s case is in anyway connected to the disappearance of Carly Spencer last Friday from her business Club 101. Ms. Webber and Ms. Spencer’s families are giving us no comment as of right now. We will keep you informed as the events unfold.” The reporter said. Lucky sat down in shock, as Elizabeth came in.
