The Eagle Force line of figures was produced by Mego in 1981. I still remember seeing the commercial for these great metal soldiers about a year before they came out. I just had to have them! The Eagle Force figures measure 2 3/4
inches. There were a total of eighteen figures in the series (in the USA). Five of the eighteen (Redwing, Wild Bill, Nemesis, Sgt. Brown & Baron Von Chill) were released a year after the other
thirteen and are more difficult to find than the other thirteen. In addition to the figures, several vehicles and
playsets were produced including a mountain / base, a jet, two jeeps, and two
tanks. There were also four "Adventure Packs". They were: Communications, Ocean Patrol,
Tactical and Bivouac. Outside of the figure line, there were comic books, cap
guns and other Eagle Force items available in the USA. In other countries, the
Eagle Force line included a numerous variations in packaging, figure painting
and even additional vehicles. Even in the USA, slight variations in
packaging were common while the line was in production by the Mego company and
later, even more variations came about when Mego discontinued production of the
