This started as an answer to a challenge. One of the requirements was a sad ending. Too many people begged me to write a happy sequel, so I didn't disappoint.

Part One

Buffy is back and Spike is ignoring her, though he remains close to Dawn. This bothers Buffy more than it should. Will she be able to admit her feelings? Will he?

Part Two

Spike has been gone for four months. Buffy is miserable without him, while he tries to reclaim his vampire roots. With a little help, they find their way back to each other.
