I've been a fan of "The Rookies" since the original run in 1972. What interested me from the beginning was the Mike/Jill relationship. I thought it was great to have a married couple where both parties worked because they wanted to...not because they had to. They both had jobs where they helped people, albeit in different ways. Mike and Jill had a loving, caring relationship but did argue from time to time, just like any real life married couple. I enjoyed quite a few story lines and really liked the camaraderie between all of the characters.
