Cast
Basic bio of the show: A typical suburban mother, Amanda King (Kate Jackson) Drops her boyfriend off at the train station.As she is walking away from the train, a man named Lee Stetson (Bruce Boxlietner) asks her for help. He gives her a package and askes her to get on the train and give it to the man in the red hat. Well, after that fiasco Amanda begins to work at IFF (the agency) as Lee's partner. They start out at first not liking each other much, but soon grew on each other and could no longer be seperated.
AMANDA KING
Amanda is an innocent woman. She cares only to be a typical suburban housewife and mother. She resides in Washington D.C. and has two young sons named Phillip (10) and Jamie (8). She is divorced from Joe King, and her mother is Dotty West. In the shows fourth season, she marries Lee Stetson secretly and doesn't even tell her mother or children so there lives are not jepordized. She hates shooting guns and dislikes Francine even more.:) She is often the one that gets in the middle of every important case the agency deals with. She could be minding her own buisness and STILL end up in the middle of it.
LEE STETSON
Lee is the typical bachelor who can't seem to find his true love. He is a federal agent for the United States government codenamed Scarecrow. Towards the beginning of his career, he worked with a woman codenamed Dorothy. After she was killed in the line of duty, he did not want another partner. He goes into a state where he seems to have no emotions at all. Then along came sweet little Amanda King. At first, he wanted nothing to do with her. But he couldn't help but realize that he cared more for her than a friend. Soon, his emotions took control and they were married.
DOTTY WEST
Dotty is Amanda's mother. Her husband died a while back and now is swingin' single. She talks a mile a minute (so thats where Amanda gets it...) and she is always pushing Amanda to commit to a man.
BILLY MELROSE
Big man on campus. Billy is Lee's boss not to mention friend. He may be a friendly guy, but when he's mad, DON'T cross him OR question him.
FRANCINE DESMOND
Francine can be considered the spitfire on the show. She always has a snide remark up her sleave and if you are male, she has plenty of room for you in her bed. Of course, you must be filthy rich first. Her and Amanda started out not getting along. This was mostly because Francine was jealous that Amanda always got to work with Lee.
PHILLIP KING
Amanda's oldest son. He is the athletic one in the family and girl crazy.
JAMIE KING
Amanda's youngest son. Jamie is considered Amanda's "baby." When Amanda and Lee were "dating" (they were really married but no one new) Jamie was jealous that his mother was spending more time with Lee than with him. Jamie prefers photography over sports and is the quieter one of the two boys.
