I am in total shock. How could such a tragic accident happen to Kevin Smith -"our Ares"!!!
Kevin was one of my favourites on Xena. He was such a talented actor and portrayed Ares with so much flair. I enjoyed the way Kevin had made me laugh in his endless pursuits of Xena.
"We loved you, Kevin! May you rest in peace. You will never be forgotten".

The soul of the actor animates the character he portrays.
If this is true then the Kevin Smith I knew was amiably wicked, wickedly funny and devilishly affable.
His untimely death shocked and saddened me and I did not know him personally.
My heart goes out to his family for their profound loss.
He will be missed for a long time. But we have his soul on film.
