The military is important in keeping peace in the world. With
so many different cultures and people in the world there are bound
to be disagreements. Members of the military go and do a job to
serve and protect his or her country and our way of life. They are
out there in the
fields, jungles, deserts, in the air and on the oceans. When they know their
families are doing good back home it helps them to keep their minds
focused on their jobs.
Sometimes these soldiers are just looking for something to link them
to home such as letters, cards, or small packages of food, books, or newspapers
Members of the military sometimes feel isolated when they are away from
family and friends. They enjoy getting MAIL!!! Letters and pictures or artwork
from their children is always a favorite too!!!
