The purpose of the New Braunfels Fire Fighters Association is to promote benevolent, educational, charitable, civic, patriotic, and fraternal activities among its members; to improve wages, hours of work, increase job security, and better working and living conditions of its members and of there families and others; promote the health, security, economic, cultural, legislative, educational, social, political, and recreational interest of its members and of their families and others; to defend the extent of democratic institutions, procedures, and civil rights and liberties of its members, their families and all others; to maintain true allegiance and faith in the laws of the state of Texas so that fire department personnel may follow their profession well informed and with pride in their achievements.
